The S211 set the bar for the luxury wagon and this example, finished in a unique Blue/Blue combo, certainly stands out from the crowd. The only non-AMG V8-powered wagon offered in the US market, the E500 4matic provided a supreme level of luxury and performance along with the reliability of the M113/722.6 pairing. This example is believed to have been used as a press vehicle early in its life explaining its unique palette and plethora of options. Many boxes were ticked on this car including some of the more rare features such as a heated steering wheel, ventilated seats and multicontour to name a few. Showing 134k miles and plenty of service history, this E500 4Matic Wagon is sure to provide its lucky new owner with the best in five-door luxury motoring for many years to come.

Hello everyone, We are just one day away from this auction ending and I am available for any last minute questions. I recommend looking through the entire photo gallery and watching the extensive video all throughout as it exhibits how well this wagon drives. A testament to the level of care and service it received. The brake pads and rotors have also been replaced recently, and as seen in the video with a hard stop, it responds like new. Please know that all accessories and instructions pictured, including the cargo anchors (photo 218) and bike rack which is not currently attached to the roof (photos 223-226), WILL BE INCLUDED IN THE SALE. These items are all OEM Mercedes with correct part numbers and fully functional. They are nearly impossible to find and are all period correct. The ski carrier slides off of the wagon and tilts downwards for ease of access. The roof box can be opened on either side allowing for it to be on the driver or passenger side of the vehicle depending on preference and comes with two keys. All of the roof accessories are designed for this vehicle and add no wind noise to the cabin. Happy bidding, Stathios
The Blue Sapphire! This is not your average Mercedes! I was lucky enough to experience this wagon last fall, while meeting with the original owner, (a very knowledgeable mercedes enthusiast), where we spent countless hours in positive, exciting mercedes related conversation closing a deal on another beautiful, rare gem, he once owned. It was difficult to not notice such a beautiful piece of art. We spent time discussing all of the wagons interesting features and all I thought was that this is a better gift than any jewelry for a loved one, not to mention more beautiful and versatile! To add a cherry on top...☆☆☆☆☆☆M113☆☆☆☆☆! Someone is going to be a happy future owner!
@dirkdildosonw126 while I appreciate your subterfuge and trash talk, your energy would be better spent scouring Craiglist's for Dirk Jr's new ride. Might I suggest a like-new 1994 Chevy Cavalier estate. The market for an E500 estate is well north of $10K. This particular example has been well-used, but equally as well-maintained. Additionally, the specs make this one even more desirable. @stathios, GLWA!
@ry107 Full details will not be displayed publicly on this example, however here is another special car I sold which was owned by Tom Brady. https://carsandbids.com/auctions/9nBQWpan/2008-audi-s8
@Stathios which celebrity??
@90toZero I don't think that will be enough. ;-)
@Stathios I’m with you on that. This example is meant to be driven, and a beautiful example regardless of imperfections.
@dirkdildosonw126 Nothing strange over here. Rest assured I'm legitimate and reasonable. I told myself when this went live that I'd spend 10k on this car if I had to- figured it best to place my bid and see what happens rather than wait another 4 days.
Very strange how that exorbitant bid came out a minute later after your post. Something very fishy here, hopefully admins can look at this
$10,000 bid placed by @90toZero
@BenzBomber Thank you for the kind words. This wagon was purchased new by a Mercedes Benz corporate official who kept it between members in his family and eventually selling it to a celebrity who of which I purchased it from.
@Dirk Dildo Son As a fellow pizza enthusiast like your son and also a part time assistant junior manager at my local Papa John's, I can say this would make an unbelievable delivery mobile. I can just picture the Pizza Planet rocket from Toy Story strapped to the roof next to the canoe rack!! Let me put this next sentence into pizza terms. As far as the panel gaps are concerned by many commenters, the gap between the hood and the headlights is more of the height of a slice of thin crust rather than deep dish. With saying that I'm unbothered by the insane panel gaps. Clearly this was a high mile and high accident vehicle. Let's cut to the crust, in the end this is a decent vehicle no matter your food preference. Also, seller can you please elaborate on where you found such a rare spec Benz?!
@nickynothing We noticed the mount issue while the $3,400 service was performed on 1/23/23. The shop there works directly with me on many mercedes where you could see a few that I have listed on here and BAT. We saw this to be not pertinent to the drivability and after that service, I took the vehicle on various road trips totaling approx. 5,000 miles. This wagon is not a 15k mile garage queen, but a rust free, fully maintained, proven reliable driver that embodies heritage and mercedes history being a press car with this incredible spec. Please, contact me directly with the "message seller" button and we can speak over the phone/schedule an in person inspection
My son is literally so excited to get this thing. He already showed his manager at the pizza store and hes rooting for him to win it since he knows it will easily last 300k miles. Woohoo!
Do you have confirmation from a MB certified body shop that the buyer will not have trouble correcting the front bumper? It really is mounted significantly wrong - I don't think it would be noticeable from far away pictures if it was just the 5mm you mentioned. I'm worried there's a lot more work to be done to get the bumper right because of the accident. It looks like the headlights aren't sitting in the right place either, because the gaps between the hood and the headlights is definitely wrong too. Which doesn't have anything to do with how the front bumper is currently mounted. Only explanation I can think of is that the mounts themselves are bent/damaged on the frame.
Please see newly added photos 186-191 to see the entire cargo section that uses the cargo net to separate the front passenger section from the rear 2/3 of the cabin while maintaining a completely flat and level loading deck. The utility offered by this wagon is incredible and applicable in plenty practical situations

Hello all, This wagon is a great daily that offers incredible versatility with the wagon hatchback and roof accessories. Pairing the 4matic permanent all wheel drive system with the M113 V8, the versatility is heightened further while maintaining bulletproof mechanics. Not to mention, this wagon encompasses all the modern safety features of the latest/greatest Mercedes Benz offerings such as side impact and curtain airbags, pre-safe technology, and crumple zones. All while being an important piece of Mercedes Benz history, especially as it was a press vehicle. All of that goes before even discussing the spec which includes various sought after options. Most notably; heated/cooled/massaging/dynamic seats, heated steering wheel, tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), Harmon and Kardon Logic 7 surround sound. There are so many more options, please see the full build sheet linked here: https://www.lastvin.com/vin/1NZMgEKpjeZ2arnlo All of the attributes above perfectly pair with the blue/blue color combo and factory alioth 18" multi piece wheels wrapped in near-new rubber. The alioth wheels are some of the rarest and most desirable wheels offered by Mercedes Benz and fit most audi and volkswagen models of the era as well. Don't forget the OEM roof accessories and tow hitch which seem to be made from unobtainium. To go along with everything come service records noting that all of the common issues have already been addressed and in recent time. Importantly, not a single spot of rust underneath or on the body. Thank you all for your interest, the lucky winner of this auction will be very pleased
My son is excited to win this as it will be the perfect pizza delivery cruiser for him to get him through until he is 18.

@Boatymcboatface I see your prolific posting on MB here and BaT. Would you be willing to provide some advice to an MB newbie in a phone conversation?
A great winter beater. Big deal if it has been in accidents / bad panels - this is meant to be driven.
@boatymcboatface Thank you and checkout the bike rack too! It’s in the photo gallery. @dirkdildosonw126 Have you looked at all 232 photos in the gallery and watched the video that shows a walk around? I do not see anything that’s not already mentioned in the comments. This is a well maintained exceptionally rare spec S211. Being a 500 4matic, it offers V8 power with permanent all wheel drive. Something the AMG s211 examples do not provide
So cool in blue and very rare, but a detail sure would help. Super-rare rims and roof gear. If someone buys it and does not want the carrier, ect i'll buy it. So hard to find anyways. My E63 S211 has some bad panel gaps and no accidents.
This car has got to have the worst body gaps and panel alignments I've ever seen. Wow. I've been a body guy for over 25 years and spotted them as soon as I loaded the page. Seller should be required to provide more closeups of every body panel on the entire car.
@nickynothing Thank you for your interest, no there was not. The tailgate has a soft close feature which can be temperamental from time to time. Is is a common thing with these wagons and does not pertain to drivability at all and there is no light on the dash for it at anytime. Please see photo 61 where it is perfectly aligned and the example below showing the same common quirk: https://thembmarket.com/2005-mercedes-benz-e500-4matic-wagon
Was there any accident history to the rear? Noticing the trunk misalignment, most noticeably on the passenger side where the taillights meet.
Looks like Hampton Bagel is still closed.
@larrythewineguy The 5mm measurement is from the mount. The exterior visible actual gap is only between the grille and the bumper and the slim piece of the bumper that extends between the headlamps on either side. Considering this vehicle has all the major services performed recently, it would be an exceptional practical daily. Thank you, Stathios
@Stathios, is the 5 mm gap not worthy of correction? Please note this is not an accusation, but rather a question from a newbie to MB. This would be an ideal vehicle for my needs, a daily driver built to cover long 2-6 hour drives all over OH, PA, IN, MI.
Hey, how do you get all these cars???
@th_boone Thank you, here are the social media accounts regarding this wagon: https://www.instagram.com/georgopoulosmotors/ https://www.tiktok.com/@stathios?lang=en
@GDalPiaz Photo 93 was taken on the tailgate towards the bottom driver side. The date codes are all 2020 and have approx. 90% tread left. Thank you for your interest, Stathios
Where is photo 93 taken and what are the date codes ont he tires? Thanks
@GRatl What is the social media handle? Such a great w211 wagon..
Social Media's favorite W211!
@NickyNothing Thank you for your interest. After performing the recent repair work dated 1/23/23 we discovered that the bumper was remounted incorrectly, approx. 5mm off while the hood and fender alignment remain fine. We decided to leave it the way it is. In the mentioned accident, the airbags did not deploy. Best, Stathios
Beautiful example Stathios. Does the accident noted in the carfax explain the misalignment/gap in the hood to the front bumper? The hood and grille gap is larger than factory, I wonder if there is still some misalignment with the hood/front bumper/grille from the accident.
