This one is so stinking cool. I'd daily drive this in a heartbeat. Silver on blue never gets old. Love it.
I have a set of these on my 95 300D in brilliant silver. Looks very, very good. Despite all its slow glory, it looks faster at least. Great option for a top secret update to any other w124.
Beautiful wagon - and per comments on Silver, it is THE color. I love color, and many, many Mercedes colors. But Silver always works. Yes there is the history and the pedigree of racing, but silver offers a neutral blend that lets the car itself be the accent.. the lines, the design, placement of glass. More bold colors, while fun, take away from that in some cases. My 2 cents. If only one color - make it silver.
Sublime. That is a beauty. Someone is going to be very, very happy.
@wabbthat is impressive! I have only been there once, but my 240D was worked on there previously and I need to take it back (it's "newer" to me), as The Foreign Service now is not working on anything previous to 1990s. Glad to have a connection. Absolutely incredible car, someone is going to get very lucky. Are you original owner? My 240d was purchased new at Olde Hickory Motors 10/11/79, that's partially why I ask..
Absolutely gorgeous. Period. I saw this in person at the dealership when on display a few years ago in Durham, NC. It is sublime. Seems a Tarheel fan needs to jump on this. Hopefully the people at A Better Wrench mech shop know? Maybe they have a customer that could be interested and are unaware here..
Whoa! Those are incredible.
Beauty ! I just *finally* got an s124 95 e320.. no regrets. Mine is not as perfect as this one, but it is smooth as silk with the m104.
What a beauty.. and in Cary nonetheless (I am in Raleigh). The photos with the 123, 126 & Unimog in the background are perfect. Way outta my league, but kudos for a great listing.
Well bought. What a gorgeous CDI!
@GRatlWhat is the social media handle? Such a great w211 wagon..
Absolutely incredible car & spec. I am wondering the same as @h2o_snow. I had a 300d '92 once upon a time, but other experience in recent/current years is my 240D and e320CDI. Opposite ends of the spectrum in speed, but wondering where this one falls in between.
This is the first wagon in a while that has me considering 'would I give up my 2014 e350 wagon for it'. Love, love, this color and that it is close enough to me in NC. Gorgeous.
Great color -wow. These 211 wagons keep looking better and better every year they get older.
