This 2006 Mercedes-Benz CLK55 AMG Cabriolet was sold new through Mercedes-Benz of Sarasota, Florida in February 2006 and remained with the original owner in Florida until 2010. Finished in Diamond Silver Metallic (762) with a Black soft top over Black/Anthracite Leather (251A), this car is powered by a 5.4-liter M113 AMG V8 paired to a five-speed automatic transmission. The CLK55 features AMG body work, twin-spoke AMG wheels, and AMG-specific interior leather. This AMG Cabriolet currently shows 73,234 miles on the odometer and is offered with a clean Carfax, one original key, service records under the current owner's tenure, and a clean Florida title in the seller's name.
Finished in Diamond Silver Metallic (762) and accented with a Black automatic soft top, this cabriolet shows even body panel gaps all around and is reportedly free from any accidents also supported by the Carfax report. The seller does note the front bumper and hood appear to have received a repaint under previous ownership likely due to former rock chips. Features include a fully automatic soft top, adaptive fog lamps, and a twin-tipped AMG exhaust outlet. Minor rock chips are shown on the nose of the car and the orange front passenger corner light does have a small fracture in the corner. AMG styling cues include sculpted Sport bumpers, side skirts, and the lip spoiler on the trunk.
This example retains factory AMG staggered wheels measuring 18x7.5 in the front and 18x8.5 in the rear. New Continental Sport Contact 5 tires were installed three years back and measure 225/40 and 255/35 respectively. Tucked behind the wheels are AMG brakes featuring 6 piston calipers up front and 4 piston in the rear.
The cabin is trimmed in Black/Anthracite Leather (251A) across the seats, door cards, armrest, and dashboard. Additional leather-trimmed features include the steering wheel and shift knob. The center console is accented with Aluminium Sport trim along with the gauge cluster and door trim strips on the door cards. Interior features include dual-zone automatic climate control, Harmon-Kardon sound, and an updated Sony touchscreen with Bluetooth phone, audio, and Apple CarPlay. The factory COMAND head unit is inlcuded in the sale and pictured in the gallery. The factory carpet is protected by OEM all-weather mats for all four seats.
Framed by a four-spoke AMG leather steering wheel, the digital odometer shows 73,234 original miles. Instrumentation includes a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer with a 6200-rpm redline, and a digital odometer with trip function. Additional gauges include fuel level, coolant temperature, an analog clock and digital external temperature gauge. The cluster is trimmed in matching aluminium Sport trim.
The 5.4-liter AMG-built M113 V8 was rated at 362 horsepower and 376 lb-ft of torque when new. Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a 722.6 five-speed automatic transmission. Services in the last seven years include new valve cover gaskets and PVC hoses, new thrust arm bushings, new strut rods, new fuel tank seals, and tires installed three years back.
This 2006 CLK55 AMG Cabriolet is offered with a clean Carfax report, one original key, service records under the current owner's tenure, and a clean Florida title in the seller's name. Both driving and cold start videos have been included by the seller along with a video demostrating the top operation.
Only 180 CLK55 AMG Cabriolets were sold in the North American market for the 2006 model year and although not much data is given on color breakdown, we suspect this car in Diamond Silver Metallic (762) is one of very few. As fans of anything propelled by the naturally aspirated AMG M113, we have to adore these cars for all the performance, practicality, and sheer fun they offer more than a decade after they’ve been on showroom floors. 0-60 reportedly took less than 5 seconds when new and the soundtrack is unbeatable with the top down. These cars seem to be one of the best kept secrets on the market and are appreciated by enthusiasts who enjoy top-down motoring with a big V8 and rear wheel drive.

@naccer do you mean the top? It is in great condition both inside and out. I drove under Florida summer heavy storms and not a single drop came inside. Then it dries incredibly fast. The center console does have one little spot of wear but otherwise the interior is in great shape. No fading in any of the switches or controls, nor the leather seats. It does not have the on/off swich on the shifter, as I think that was an optional. It starts with the key. Let me know if you have other questions. Thanks!
Hi seller, great looking car. How’s the headliner? And is the start button / center console wearing? I can’t tell from the pictures. Thanks!
