This 2007 Mercedes-Benz CL550 was originally sold in late 2006 for the 2007 model year and again as a Certified Pre-Owned Example at Mercedes-Benz of New Rochelle, New York in April 2008. This CL550 shows just under 82k miles and was previously sold on The MB Market to the seller in September 2022. Finished in Jade/Periclase Green Metallic (300) over a Savannah/Cashmere Nappa Leather (804) interior, power is provided by a naturally aspirated 5.5-liter M273 V8 engine paired to a seven-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes CLS IWC Ingenieur wheels, Distronic-Plus, Bi-Xenon headlamps with Active Curve Illumination, heated and ventilated multi-contour dynamic front seats, Keyless-Go, Harman-Kardon Logic 7 surround sound system, a six-disc DVD/CD changer and a heated steering wheel. Recent maintenance includes a new battery, all fresh fluids, new rear brake rotors, brake pads, and new drive belts. This CL550 is now offered with manufacturer's literature, two keys, complete VMI, a clean Carfax report, original window sticker, and a clean Montana title.
This CL550 is finished in Jade/Periclase Green Metallic (300) and shows original body panels free from any previous paintwork or damage. Exterior features include Bi-Xenon headlamps with Active Curve Illumination, a power glass sunroof, folding side mirrors, and halogen fog lamps positioned in the bumper. The front bumper wears a license plate mount and the grille shows the solid emblem indicating Distronic-Plus. A blemish in the grille is noted and shown in the gallery in addition to minor rock chips on the front bumper and a paint blemish under the rear right taillamp.
The standard wheels for this CL550 have been removed and replaced with 18” 5-spoke AMG wheels from a CLS55 AMG IWC Ingenieur. The IWC Edition wheels are finished in dark bronze from the factory and only 55 units were produced. These OEM+ wheels measure 18x8.5” up front and 18x9.5" in the rear and wear Goodyear F1 tires. Recent service includes new rear brake rotors and brake pads.
The interior is trimmed in Savannah/Cashmere Nappa Leather (804) and features Burl Wood veneers on the doors, center console and dashboard with Brown contrasting carpets and headliner. Amenities on this example include Distronic-Plus, dual-zone automatic climate control, Keyless-Go, heated and ventilated multi-contour front seats, a heated steering wheel, rear headrests with power assist, a glass power sunroof, a power rear window shade, and a Harman-Kardon surround sound system with a six-disc DVD changer. The seller notes one of the parking sensors in inoperable.
Factory digital instrumentation consists of a 160-mph speedometer, 7k-rpm tachometer, fuel-level gauge, coolant temperature gauge, and configurable digital readouts. The digital odometer shows just under 82k original miles.
The naturally aspirated 5.5-liter M273 V8 was rated at 382 horsepower and 391 lb-ft of torque when new and featured an aluminum engine block, sequential fuel injection, forged steel connecting rods, a one-piece cast camshaft, and a magnesium intake manifold. Maintenance in early 2022 included new front brake pads, an engine oil cooler, new alternator, a new power steering hose, and an oil and filter service. The seller has also had a new battery installed, all fresh fluids, new rear brake rotors, brake pads, and new drive belts within the last 2 months. A complete VMI (Vehicle Master Inquiry report from Mercedes-Benz) showing all services performed by the dealer for this CL550 since new is viewable in the gallery along with underbody photos.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists linear mileage updates since new along with selling dealer service records. This CL550 is now offered with recent service, manufacturer's literature, two keys, a complete VMI, a clean Carfax report, original window sticker, and a clean Montana title.
Videos have been provided showing a walk around, engine and interior tour of the car.
The sexy, sweeping silhouette of this C216 pillarless coupe pairs perfectly with the Periclase paintwork, providing performance, power and precision sans pretense. The luxurious cabin swells to a symphony of handsome materials with stitching as surgically precise as the steering and grip at Autobahn speeds. We could wax romantic for days about the effortless elegance and beastly beauty of this gorgeously muscular grand touring grin-maker, but there’s much more to this example than just a pretty face. As many enthusiasts and drivers have noted of late, well-kept W221 S-Class sedans appear to be primely placed in the sweet spot of depreciation, relevant useable tech, performance and reliability. Thereto, it follows, that its door-deprived brethren – the C216 – provides all the same value and benefit. This particular CL550 is exceptionally desirable in Jade Green over Cashmere sporting low mileage and proper service history from new. The rare factory CLS IWC Ingenieur edition wheels are the perfect compliment to the paint color and nearly impossible to find today. No matter where this CL550 ends up, it's sure to turn heads on every corner.

Afternoon all- final few hours, here for any questions. I'm uploading a video of the rear headrests functioning along with the rear sunshade which does function (i've never used it so never really checked) but as you'll see in the video they both function well. The heated steering wheel, seats and ventilation all work as well. I'm also uploading a photo of the windshield marking which is not MB so it has been replaced. The windscreen is in excellent shape with no chips or scratches. Let me know if any other questions on this wonderful CL! Cheers!
The VMI and Night View photos have been uploaded to the gallery.
@Armenian - thank you. Uploading the VMI and photos of the functioning night view. In the VMI i dont see the windscreen being replaced. Ill get some closeups of the markimgs on the glass today. The heat/vent functions on both seats. Distronic also functions correctly along with the rear headrests. As mentioned in the add, one of the 2 of the parking sensors functions sometimes and faults sometimes- the other sensor has been tested and functions correctly. The rear sunshade does NOT function and is in the down position.
Do the options: night view assist, distronic, heated/cooled/vented seats, rear headrest control and rear shade all work as they should? and has the front windshield been changed? Missing the Daimler sticker on passenger side?
God I want this so bad to repalce my current daily.. It would be a bad idea for me to bid on this. However... I'm serioulsy considering it. It's perfect in every way for me.
@AKEsquire funny I had full intentions of using her as my daily. Then the "return to office" mandate came down 5 days a week and I couldn't think of parking it in an NYC garage getting banged up. She sits now which is a shame.. she's a beautiful car and should get some daily exercise!
If you're willing to say, why the quick turn on ownership?

Afternoon! Wanted to add the date code on the tires (3319) plenty of tread and if needed the car would have no problem making a long trip home (vs shipping) if one wanted. The car needs nothing and is ready for a long trip if needed!

@Weirest1 thank you! I looked for another set for another CL and they're tough to find! They look awesome in person!
Just came to ask if the wheels were IWC wheels- that color is unmistakable!
