The body is finished in Palladium Silver Metallic (792) and features the AMG Styling Package with sculpted front and rear aprons along with extended side skirts. Grand Edition badging is mounted along the exterior, while additional equipment includes a power tilt/slide glass sunroof, auto-dimming mirrors, and integrated mirror turn signals. The seller reports that the car has always been garage kept and shows no signs of rust or major blemishes. The paint presents extremely well and the Carfax lists no accidents or other damage throughout the car’s history. Paint protection film (PPF) has been added to the headlights and side mirrors.
Factory 18” AMG double-spoke wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires measuring 225/45 up front and 255/40 at the rear. The front tires show late-2017 date codes, while the rears date to late 2018. The wheels present very well with no notable curb rash or scuffing reported. Braking is handled by four-piston front and two-piston rear calipers, with cross-drilled front rotors. The Grand Edition is also equipped with factory sport suspension.
The cabin is upholstered in Tobacco Brown Nappa Leather (844) with contrasting stitching and brushed aluminum trim across the dashboard, center console, and door panels. The leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel fronts a 160-mph speedometer and 7k-rpm tachometer, along with gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. Chrome trim surrounds the instrumentation, while a centrally mounted multifunction display provides vehicle and trip information. The digital odometer currently indicates 28,215 miles.
Power comes from a naturally aspirated 3.5-liter M272 V6 rated at 268 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque from the factory. A seven-speed 7G-Tronic automatic transmission sends power to the rear wheels and can be manually controlled using the steering-wheel shift paddles. Service history includes regular dealer attention during the car’s early life, including a comprehensive Mercedes-Benz service at just over 3k miles in 2013. That visit included an oil and filter change, brake-fluid service, front brake rotors, front and rear brake pads, a cabin air filter, and a number of inspections and adjustments. A new battery was installed in 2023. The Grand Edition CLK feels like the proper closing chapter of one of Mercedes-Benz’s most colorful modern coupe lineages. A family tree that stretches from elegant pillarless cruisers all the way to the CLK GTR, CLK DTM AMG, and CLK63 AMG Black Series. That breadth is what makes the CLK name so interesting. Few Mercedes model lines managed to cover so much ground, from understated luxury coupes to homologation specials to full-bore AMG monsters, and in the process became part of the era that helped cement the brand’s reputation for engineering, speed, and style. The C209 sits on the more refined end of that spectrum, but it still feels connected to the same lineage. Its long hood, frameless glass, pillarless profile, and beautifully balanced proportions have aged exceptionally well, carrying forward the clean design values enthusiasts associate with the Bruno Sacco era even though the C209 itself came later. The Grand Edition gave the shape one final flourish with AMG bodywork, 18” wheels, sport suspension, unique badging, and a richer interior specification. In Palladium Silver over Tobacco Brown Nappa leather, with just 28k miles and a clean Carfax, this example feels like more than just a low-mileage CLK. This is the final chapter of a piece of Mercedes-Benz history from a model line that helped define what the brand could be, whether that meant crossing continents in comfort or chasing lap times on the Nürburgring. As 1 of only 400 units produced, this is an extremely rare spec and the first one we've seen on The MB Market out of thousands of auctions. Our only gripe is that Mercedes didn't put this same color combination on every model produced because it is perfection.
