The MB Market Insights
The appeal of a well-kept diesel W124 is in the details. Here, it’s the Grey MB-Tex beneath the sheepskins, the factory cassette deck, the Zebrano trim, and the familiar Gullideckel wheels. Nothing about the specification is trying particularly hard, which is part of the charm. Arctic White suits the restrained bodywork, and the little vents in the passenger-side fender give enthusiasts something to recognize before they reach the trunk badge. These cars earned their following by being used, so mileage deserves to be considered alongside condition and care. This example’s presentation, retained literature, and reported storage history make it worth a closer look. Recent attention to the HVAC, fluids, filters, and tires also addresses the sort of work that makes an older Mercedes more enjoyable to live with. For someone drawn to the quieter side of W124 ownership, a carefully maintained 2.5 Turbo makes a persuasive case...If you need more than that, it's now No-Reserve!
