This 2005 Mercedes-Benz E320 4MATIC Wagon was sold new at Crown Eurocars in Dublin, OH and remained with the original owner until March 2021 when it was acquired by the selling dealer. It shows just under 54k miles and is finished in Flint Grey Metallic (368) over Grey MB-Tex (138). Power comes from a 3.2-liter V6 paired with a five-speed automatic transmission sending power to all four wheels. Recent service includes an oil change, refinished OEM wheels, and new Continental tires all around. Features include rear-facing third-row seats, dynamic front seats with heating, an electric sunroof, rear sunblinds, and more. This W211 wagon is now offered by the selling dealer at No Reserve with factory literature, two keys, a clean Carfax report showing over 25 dealer service visits, and a clean Kentucky title.
The exterior is finished in Flint Grey Metallic (368), and optional equipment includes an electric sunroof and an automatic tailgate. The seller notes that the rear bumper was recently refinished to eliminate parking and loading wear marks. The May 2021 Carfax report shows no accidents or damage to indicate paintwork elsewhere on the vehicle.
Factory 16″ dual-spoke alloys were recently refinished by the selling dealer and wear new 225/55 Continental ExtremeContact tires. The 4MATIC system is a permanent all-wheel-drive system with three open differentials, using electronic traction control and ABS to maintain grip. An oil change was performed in preparation for the sale and the front brake pads and rotors were replaced approximately 1,000 miles ago at the dealer.
The interior is trimmed in Grey MB-Tex (138) and accented with burl walnut trim on the door panels, dashboard, and center console. The front seats feature the dynamic seating package along with 10-way power adjustment, memory, and heat functions. The steering wheel and shift knob are trimmed in Grey leather and the rear side windows feature sunblinds on both the right and left side of the cabin. In the rear cargo area, a third-row of rear facing seats fold flat into the floor.
Instrumentation includes a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6,000-rpm redline, and a digital odometer that shows just under 54k miles, approximately 250 of which were added by the selling dealer. Digital readouts for both fuel level and coolant temperature are found on each end of the cluster.
Rear-facing third-row seats fold flush into the floor to allow for additional cargo space.
Power comes from a 3.2-liter M112 V6 paired with a five-speed TouchShift automatic transmission driving all four wheels. Output was rated at 221 horsepower and 232 lb-ft of torque when new, and the selling dealer reports that the engine oil and filter were changed in preparation for the sale.
Additional pictures of the underbody can be viewed in the gallery.
The Carfax report lists registration history for its single owner in Kentucky, with no accidents or damage, linear mileage updates, and over 25 MB Dealer service visits throughout the vehicle's history.

I bought a few cars from various sites and they were not exactly as described so that s were I stand today But in this case my apologies again and definitely worth a bid Thank you
@Vlad600sel No problem - happens to the best of us. Just don't want someone here getting spooked off what looks like a nice example due to misinformation. 😎
@ariotofmyown in that case my apologies
@Vlad600sel Yeah, Vlad, that section in the middle that says "we found information on your vehicle...one accident" is an ad. If you click it, it takes you to some BS site called "EpicVIN" and asks for your credit card info. That's what's called clickbait. For example, I just ran the VIN for one of my personal cars through that site (which I know for a fact is accident free) and they said the same thing "one accident". LOL. You definitely got click-baited....

@Butlerboy66 I've owned five of these 211 chassis wagons and only one of them had an issue with the fuel recall - my E55. Basically you'll start smelling fuel in the cabin area so they have to pull the second row seats and replace the tank (or the neck if thats where the leak is). I remember getting the extended warranty notice about it in the mail but never used it on any of the cars except the E55 since the repair isn't useable unless the leak occurs. So, if it hasnt happened on this one over 16 years, its likely not going to be an issue. But, if it is, its not a huge deal to repair/replace. On a personal note - these are wonderful wagons so I'd definitely recommend getting one if you're considering it. Good Luck!
@Vlad600sel What makes you now "not know" about this one-owner, low-mileage, dealer serviced example? Drop the link to this "vindecodez" report in the chat so the community can see what you're talking about. I have a feeling its not verified info and seems unfair to use unverified info to call into question the validity of this auction lot. So, let's see it...
I have the same car basically e55 and was thinking to get a similar for daily but now I don’t know
@Vlad600sel I trust the clean carfax report way more than "vindecodez" which doesn't sound particularly reliable. What sources do they draw their information from? I know Carfax uses, state, local and federal police & Insurance databases plus actuarial databases and private shops to compile their reports...I doubt "vindecodez" has a secret source for uncovering accidents that somehow went unreported everywhere else - lol.
Did a search on vindecodez and shows at action with 2 problems and a accident Dk how accurate is
@Vlad600sel This example is NOT in the affected range for timing chain issues, thankfully. The engine serial number on this vehicle ends with 31 914233 and the affected range for this issue was corrected for engines having serial number 30 468993 or higher. So you're in the clear with this one. Hope that helps and GLWA!
Early M272 engines (2004 – 2008) are known to have timing chain problems caused by balance shaft and idler gear failures. The M272 had defective gears in their balance shafts which wear out prematurely, excessively, and without warning, causing the vehicle to malfunction. Timing chain failures can cause catastrophic engine damage. Is this one affected or not ?
Did a VIN search and I cannot find any Recall done on this vehicle. Anyone know the cost of this repair? My 55th birthday is coming up and I would die to own this vehicle as my “middle aged car”…..but, I am curious about this issue.
My bad it’s a fuel tank extended warranty. Many W211’s had this issue. My 2004 wagon did so I had to replaced both the pump and filter. It’s a 15 year extension so if it hasn’t been updated/replaced then the warranty is out. Thx https://www.carcomplaints.com/news/2014/mercedes-benz-extends-warranty-gas-tank.shtml

@Bamboo this is a single dealer only service car since new, Carfax doesn’t show to have any open recalls.
Has the fuel pump and filter been replaced under the recall?

@albanianbenz I actually used to have an 04 E320 wagon and had to repaint the rear bumper as well just from chips from unloading and loading. I swear that was the most reliable car I've ever owned. #wagonlife

@camerasupply there was no damage, the paint was just flaking
How bad was the damage to the rear? Do you have pictures of the rear with the damage before the damage you can add? I asked your brother about it when I was inspecting the car and he didn't know. Did you replace the rear trunk lid or the rear glass?
