This 1995 Mercedes-Benz SL320 was sold new through Stahl Motorcars of Monterey, California and shows registration in California and Washington since new. Finished in Imperial Red (582) over Beige Leather (275), the car is powered by a 3.2-liter M104 inline-six paired to a five-speed automatic transmission. Features include power seats, power windows, automatic climate control, power mirrors, and a power folding soft top with removable paint-matched hardtop. The selling dealer acquired this car in early 2022 and has added just over 300 miles. This R129 currently shows 31k miles on the odometer and is offered by the seller with the original window sticker, two keys, tool kit, manufacturer's literature, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Washington title.
Finished in Imperial Red (582) with matching lower body cladding, this coupe shows no signs of rust and no major imperfections in the paint or bodywork. This example shows all original features including North American-spec headlamps with wipers, keyless entry, power mirrors, a power folding black canvas soft top, and an Imperial Red (582) hardtop with heated glass. Detailed photos of the exterior can be seen in the gallery.
Original OEM 16” wheels wear Yokohama tires measuring factory-spec 225/55 on all four corners. The tires show 2021 date codes and the wheels show original painted center caps.
The cabin is trimmed in Beige Leather (275) across the seats, door cards, armrest, and tonneau cover. Additional leather-trimmed features include the steering wheel and shift knob. All leather surfaces are reported to be original and the cabin shows minimal signs of use since new. Original Beige carpets are shown with Beige floor mats. The center console is accented with Burl Walnut wood and interior features include the original Becker head unit with original radio card, automatic climate control, power mirrors, a power roll bar, and seatbelts integrated into the seats.
The analog odometer shows 31k original miles. Instrumentation includes a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline, and an analog odometer with trip function. Additional gauges include fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure along with an analog clock and digital external temperature gauge.
The 3.2-liter M104 inline-six was rated at 217 horsepower and 229 lb-ft of torque when new with power sent to the rear wheels via a five-speed automatic transmission. Records showing past servicing do not accompany the car aside from details shown on the clean Carfax report included in the sale.
The Carfax report lists no accidents or damage along with linear mileage updates since new. This R129 currently shows 31k miles on the odometer and is offered by the seller with the original window sticker, two keys, tool kit, manufacturer's literature, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Washington title.

wow, did not meet reserve. Without harness and hydraulic upgrades or engine shots from underneath without the belly pan, it's all the money IMO.
We didn't meet the reserve today, but the car is still for sale. Thanks for all the bids and thank you MB market for listing the car!

I just checked the spare, it looks to be unused and I can't find a date code. It has no signs of the tread being on pavement and the lug holes are clean.
@SamSl I have to check the spare but I believe it is original. The windscreen is shown in the video and is included.
@seller, is the wind deflector in trunk behind holder/cover? How is the spare tire, new and unused?

@MrJohnson. Hi. I apologize if I misunderstood. It does take some effort/time to check for new main harness, but worth it. Remove the battery and track up the main harness to see if you can find the replacement tag. Hope it’s there.
@Jhoagg If the car meets our reserve then we are happy to work with the buyer if the harness needs to be replaced. The hoses are all dated 1994 and look original, so I assume the harness is also original.
@MrJohnson. It is misleading to call replacement of the original wiring harness “preventative maintenance”. It is not. Every one of these original harnesses will fail. Every single one. It is simply a question of when. If this has not been replaced, it will fail for the buyer of this car, or for a subsequent owner. It’s actually fairly easy to see if main wiring harness has been replaced. A replacement harness will have a white tag on it with the date code. One hopes the car already has this replacement, and it would be worth you looking to see.

@Jhoagg It doesn't need it now unless you want to do it as preventative maintenance. That is if it hasn't been done before. I can't be certain.
Unless I’m hugely mistaken and it has been been replaced, car will need entire new wiring harness installed. It has notorious “bio-degradable” harness. Even if no symptoms are exhibited now, it will fail unless entirely replaced.

Hello everyone! I'm proud to offer this low mileage original R129. Everything works in this car, including the power adjustable rear view mirror and air conditioning. The top functions perfectly and there is a video showing this and a walk around. The windscreen is included, as well as the owner's manual set, first aid kit, original window sticker and one key fob. Factory tools and a jack and spare are in the trunk. The original owner took excellent care of this car, and the second owner who we purchased the car from also garaged the car and rarely drove it. Please feel free to ask me any questions!
