This 1995 Mercedes-Benz E320 Cabriolet was initially sold and registered in Massachusetts where it spent time there and in Palm Beach, Florida with the original owner through June of 2022. Finished in Black Pearl Metallic (199) over Beige Leather (265), power is provided by a 3.2-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed automatic transmission driving the rear wheels. Equipment includes heated power-adjustable front seats, a power-operated soft top, power mirrors, cruise control, a passenger airbag, central locking, and a factory head unit. The included Carfax report shows 2 service history records with one being a head gasket replacement by Mercedes-Benz in 2006 at 27k miles along with a comprehensive refresh at Blue Ridge MB including new upper and lower wiring harnesses. This E320 Cabriolet is now offered for sale by the selling party out of Lilburn, Georgia with a first aid kit, originally optioned draft deflector, multidisc CD changer in the trunk, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Georgia title.

Each version of the 124, be it the sedan wagon, coupe, or cabriolet, had a very different chassis to one another. This was just the way the powerhouse manufacturer, Mercedes-Benz, built cars back in the day which is very different to today where everything is platform shared and homogenized. That’s one of the reasons why these cars were so expensive when new. Mercedes-Benz would suffocate the engineers with cash flow to make the best car in the damn world. The A124 is a wonderful car and rare to boot with low production numbers compared to the others. A Blue-Black E320 is even more rare. One with this kind of miles and a recorded head gasket job is like hens teeth. High mileage A124s are a delight to drive if they’ve been maintained to factory standards but usually fall victim to top down abuse and worn interiors. Low mileage cars like this one are honestly the way to buy them. The driving experience is so calming and pleasant and high quality feeling that a tattered car will ruin the zeitgeist and balance of the car that they just become unenjoyable. It’s wise to just pony up and buy a sorted one like this if you’re looking for this unique automotive experience.
