This 2007 Mercedes-Benz CLK63 AMG Cabriolet was originally sold by Mercedes-Benz of Walnut Creek and out West until 2011 when it moved to the Atlanta metro area. Finished in Iridium Silver Metallic (775) over Black Nappa Leather (811), power is provided by a hand-built 6.2-liter M156 V8 mated to a seven-speed AMG SpeedShift automatic transmission driving the rear wheels. Factory equipment includes a power soft top, Bi-Xenon headlamps with Active Curve Illumination, heated front seats, Keyless-Go with push button start, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a 8-speaker Bose AutoPilot Digital Sound System. Additional modifications include many RENNtech goodies including a ECU tune, custom exhaust, RENNtech headers, limited-slip differential, carbon fiber RENNtech airbox, hi-flow mid pipes, 82mm throttle body, 15mm rear wheel spacers, and a Black Series carbon fiber boot lid spoiler. Recent maintenance includes new oil cooler lines, an A service, and battery. Now showing 56,039 miles, this CLK63 AMG Cabriolet is now being offered for sale in Marietta, Georgia with one key, the original manufacturer’s literature, hundreds of pages of photos for every dollar spent on on this CLK63 AMG since the current owner bought it in 2011 including odometer readings at every fuel fill up, original window sticker, RENNtech upgrade invoices, VMI report, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Florida title.
The body is finished in Iridium Silver Metallic (775) and features an electrohydraulic insulated soft top with a heated glass rear pane. AMG body styling consists of a sculpted front air dam with mesh intakes, side skirts, rear apron, and dual polished chrome AMG exhaust tips. Exterior features include Bi-Xenon headlamps and front fog lamps with Active Curve Illumination, rain-sensing wipers, a mesh air deflector, Keyless-Go and heated power-adjustable door mirrors with an auto-dimming driver side. The body shows no signs of damage or rust with no accidents or damage reports appearing on the Carfax. Paint protection film has been applied to the hood, front bumper, and quarter panels. The rest of the paint meters as original. The paint meter readings show thicker in these areas for obvious reasons. A full paint correction and ceramic coating was applied in May of 2021. A carbon fiber Black Series boot lid spoiler has been installed.
Staggered 18” five-spoke AMG lightweight alloy wheels come wrapped in a set of Michelin Pilot Super sport tires measuring 225/45 up front and 255/35 rear with 2021 date codes. Silver painted 6-piston AMG calipers bite down on perforated and slotted two-piece floating discs mounted to the front axle with four-piston units mounted at the rear. Rear wheels are spaced with 15mm spacers with extended lugs. A limited-slip differential has been integrated in the differential. Regimented brake fluid flushes were performed per the OE intervals. Front brake pads and sensors were done in August of 2019 at 51k miles.
The AMG sport seats are trimmed in Black Nappa Leather (811) with matching black AMG floor mats and Burl Walnut wood trim which lines the center console and door panels. Both front seats are heated with just the driver being optioned with multicontour adjustment. Additional interior appointments include dual-zone automatic climate control, rubber studded stainless steel pedals, AMG door sills, a power tilt/telescope steering column, a leather wrapped gear selector with an engine start/stop button, Excelon head unit with bluetooth and cell phone integration, 8-speaker Bose AutoPilot Digital Sound System. A variable trunk compartment provides partitioned cargo space when the soft top is folded down.
The four-spoke AMG steering wheel fronts black gauges including a 200-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer and an analog clock. Digital instrumentation includes gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature, a configurable central display and a digital odometer which currently shows just under 56k miles from new.
This A209 is powered by a hand-built 6.2-liter naturally-aspirated V8 which produces 475 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque in its original form, but with the RENNtech upgrades, power has been increased to 574 horsepower and 543 ft/lbs of torque at the flywheel. Additional power is achieved with RENNtech’s ECU tune, custom exhaust, RENNtech headers, carbon fiber RENNtech airbox, hi-flow mid pipes, and 82mm throttle body. Power is sent to the rear wheels through an AMG SpeedShift seven-speed automatic transmission which can be controlled via aluminum paddle shifters mounted behind the steering wheel. RENNtech and exhaust upgrade service invoices can be seen in the gallery. This example has every single invoice and receipt for every dollar spent on the car with hundreds of pages covering the entire life of the car since about 9,500 miles when the car was purchased in 2011. The VMI report from Mercedes-Benz covers the services from new to 9,500 miles. In 2020 at 51k miles, engine mounts, transmission mount, spark plugs, rear main seal, transmission service, transmission service, and differential service. Most recently done was the oil cooler lines, an A service, and a new battery in preparation for the sale.
The Carfax report shows just three registered owners with history reported in California , Arizona, and Georgia. The current owner bought the car off DuPont registry in August of 2011 and included the listing page where he found the car. The Carfax is free of any accidents or damage reports and shows linear mileage updates since new with odometer shots that are date stamped with every fuel fill up including a spreadsheet. This CLK63 Cabriolet is now offered for sale by the selling dealer with one key, the original manufacturer’s literature, original window sticker, RENNtech upgrades, VMI report, utterly complete service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Florida title.
RENNtech is synonymous with the Hammers of the ‘80s. Hartmut Feyhl was the one who hand-built all of the Westmont Hammers and is now the one running RENNtech out of Florida. The upgrades this A209 has received was exorbitantly expensive in period and would be knocking on the door of $30,000 today. The M156 was the very first ground-up AMG production engine the world has ever seen. It’s already a handful in a stock CLK63, but this beautifully preserved, original paint example is making over 570 horsepower. With the custom exhaust (including the rare and expensive RENNtech headers) you get to listen to the baleful roar of the M156 with the top down. This one also has a LSD installed because the owner of the car is a driver. Most importantly are the service records that come with the car. With several hundred pages of documentation, every single service invoice from day one, and the spreadsheets included in the sale, we’re downright obsessed with this example as this is the best serviced and most documented Mercedes-Benz we have ever seen on The MB Market.

I could be wrong but that seems like a OEM CLK63 Black Series spoiler. NLA for the past 5 years. A dream of a car. You won't need help selling.
Welcome everyone to the auction of our 2007 CLK63 AMG that's been fully kitted out with RENNtech go-fast parts! This car is on consignment with us with a well known client of ours that brings us the most immaculate examples of German cars -- models that tend to get beat on and/or used up to become Facebook Marketplace flotsam in the year of 2025. It's rewarding to see his cars come through our doors as they're all incredibly preserved, both cosmetically and mechanically. This is a unique and special car. Only 143 units were produced for 2007 and with the world on the tipping point of the Recession, the later year models were even more scarce. With over $20,000 in RENNtech upgrades (in-period money) and services performed just because the owner felt like it, this is arguably the nicest W209 AMG in the United States. He also took a picture of the odometer at every fuel fill up and photo copied every single invoice. Trust us. This is the guy you want to buy a car from. Feel free to look through the photos and video our in-house auction specialist put together and comment or PM us if you have any questions. We will be on stand by!
