This AMG SUV is powered by a hand-built 5.5-liter biturbo V8 which outputs 577 horsepower and 561 lb-ft of torque. A plaque mounted to the engine cover is signed by the AMG technician who assembled the engine in Affalterbach. Power is sent to all four wheels through a seven-speed AMG SpeedShift Plus automatic transmission with AMG Performance 4Matic all-wheel drive. The optional AMG Performance Exhaust changes volume and tone depending on the drive mode that is selected. The most recent regular dealer service was performed in January 2023.
