@GoBoGo what I mean is that despite maybe a jealous feeling, these are not acted out in vengeful ways against sellers or buyers on this platform as we often see on the bigger guys listings

@Iceman007 Yes I imported the car and I have all the documents from doing so.  The car came via container from Europe into the Port of NY.  We used our customs broker with bond to pay the tariff and get the cars in the container the release forms, the car was then drayage transported over to Newark while still in the container.  I went personally to be there for the unloading of the container and presented all the docs to release the two cars.  We then submitted those docs to the state of WA where we obtained the title.    The title is lien free and clear.

California will not allow a gray market car to even try to take the smog test without first going to a California Air Resource Board approved lab where it gets certified for having emissions gear onboard, or if not, they add the gear for the owner, and then certify the car.   The car's VIN is then added to the CARB database and a sticker is affixed to the side of the dash or in the driver door jam.      This is the same for any car not originally sold in USA that is newer than 1976.   That being said, most JDM cars like this either require no modification or very minor modification because Japan did quite closely follow US EPA and even at times CA CARB type requirements.   Inspections on cars in Japan are more thorough than in USA actually, and we have attached some of those 120 point Shaken reports in the uploaded photos, which must be done every 24 months to keep a car on the road in Japan (unless its a recent car).   Stuff like catalyst, or carbon canister, or egr (exhaust gas recirculation), these are typical requirements in Japan on most cars.   Japan also required additional (not just o2 sensor) exhaust temp sensor with added warning light on instrument clusters.    Hotter cats clean exhaust emissions more than cool ones which is why many cars are also fit with air pumps or other auxiliary warm up emissions devices that clean exhaust output while waiting for engine, manifold, downpipe, and catalyst to get up to operating temps.   Hope that is helpful insight.   I've been working with CARB on many imported to CA vehicles for over 28 yrs now.  Even if a car is CARB certified and resides out of state with a non-CA registration at time of sale, buyers should contact CARB with the VIN number to verify it is in the database.   That even goes for a car that has a CA title but does not have a current CA registration, because CA will give a car a title but then deny a registration if it does not have CARB cert (they like our money) or if it does not pass smog.

@Clutch The remote is for an additional CD changer wired into the aux of the Becker unit.   Additional device is an ETC card reader for the road toll system in Japan, all Japanese cars that go on the highway have this, it can be removed.  Yes, its the headlight wipers that are not hooked up, but, yes, otherwise everything else has been working. Ive taken the car on some trips to different concours events and shows, some up to 5 hr. runs.   Before the tires were replaced I also drove it from one of our warehouses to another which is a 6 hour run, so its had some jaunts and didn't give me any problems.

Yes the A/C blows cold, and the transmission is a 722.358 variation of the 722.3 series
I believe the 500e has a 722.365
only difference might be the ratios but I am not certain
