@Jerickson Congratulations on the win! Very well done!
@Stuttgart_SteelAwesome video from Leno and solid timing on his part! Thanks for sharing!
@DCMotorWerksThanks for sharing! The ownership history of the car is very special and I'm glad you were able to share it with Lemke. The car has certainly been very well loved over the years!
@DunlopiloAs much as I'd love to take credit for being able to push that much air out of my lungs on a nonstop basis, that my friend was just the wind up on the mountain where I was taking the photos. Although I could pull off Darth Vadar for Halloween.
@mbmutluI was tempted to do that myself. The facelift tails with the tint remind me of the 210 AMG smoked taillights which I kind of like. But yes, matching the amber to the front would be a period correct look. Thanks!
@Woodhauz Thank you! The Evo wheels really do give it a proper look!
@mbmutluYes, description states the taillights have been updated from a 1994 model. This is how it was when I got it and I like both styles so I left the rear. The front corners were also updated as well to match when I got it but I prefer the amber up front. I'm happy to provide the updated facelilft corners to the front for the buyer instead of the amber if desired.
@schwarzauberThe wiring harness has been changed. I double checked the Delphi tag on it this morning and it is updated as of June 17th, 1998, so it was updated early which is good. I'll upload a picture of the tag this evening.
@JanoHey! Yes it is to my knowledge. Earlier this year a new self-leveling torsion bar was installed and the rest of the system was all good!
Underbody photos have been added to the end of the gallery along with a video showing a cold start and driving footage.
@WindartoThank you for stopping by and seeing the car!
@HarrdwareThank you! I agree the Evo wheels are perfect on it. The wheels were purchased directly from the Mercedes-Benz Classic Center last year and are still in perfect condition.
Hey everyone! Thank you for checking out the listing for my beloved 500E! This has been a truly great car to me and it hurts to sell it. I'm working on some big plans for the near future which means letting go of a couple toys to make it happen. Please let me know if you have any questions and I'll answer to the best of my knowledge. I'll be taking a driving video and some underbody photos this week as well which will be added at that time. The car runs and drives beautifully and is turn key ready for its next caretaker. Cheers to all and happy bidding!
@Ozzy0505I’ve ran these wheels on my 98 SL600 and 210 E55’s. I’ve always used 245/40 up front and 275/35 in the rear. That’s factory specs for the tires on these wheels.
I would run these wheels on every MB if I could, easily my favorite design and this really is a perfect set.
@95E300DieselThese would be a great fit for your W124!
@Bruce777 Well played sir! Congrats! I'll connect with you shortly!
@AMG5pt4 Thank you! This is definitely a car I'm going to miss!
@CannedHeat2 Thank you! The color was what drew me to this particular car, and the fact it's an 89.
I added an additional video showing the car outside in direct sunlight as well as a picture of a service receipt from 2019 that was in the car.
@Jim_RosenthalThe tire sizes I used for these wheels when I had them on my 500E are 245/40 front and 275/35 rear. That's the OEM tire size for them as well.
@Jim_Rosenthal This is exactly what you're looking for!
@Jim_Rosenthal These do fit 124 500E's. I test fit a set on my 500E when trying out different wheel options and have seen quite a few running this exact spec monoblock. Perfect wheel for it!
@KloureiroHey! There's some minor creasing in the seat bottoms which is normal for these. Nothing out of the normal but still wanted to include it. Thanks!
@BenzhillI totally agree! It was difficult to capture the true color of the paint as it's very unique compared to the bright red and burgundy colors offered at the time.
Hello and welcome to the auction for my 560SL! I've owned this car since December 2022 and have spent considerable time to ensure it's reliable and up to snuff. The car is a real head turner with sharp classic body lines from the 80's and rare Almandine Red paint. It's also the last model year offered for the R107 which has become the most collectible and desirable of the lineage. I hate to see it go but I don't get to enjoy it very often and am freeing up some space in the garage for future toys. I'd love to see it go to a fellow enthusiast who will continue to properly take care of the car. Good luck to all!
This car happened to be local to me and I've known the last owner (who's owned the car since 2007) for a few years now. We were introduced through his mechanic. His collection of diesel Benzes is a site to behold. All have been kept in a climate controlled garage with battery tenders including this one which may very well by my personal favorite. In preparation for the auction, I had the opportunity to take the photos for the listing and drive the car. It drives phenomenally with silky smooth shifts and a healthy diesel chug. This is easily one of the cleanest S123 wagons left in the world today. The way the car is presented is exactly how it's been kept for years. Bid with confidence!
I was fortunate enough to see this car in person and took the photos for the listing. This car is in stunning condition! Anyone who is interested in bidding will not be disappointed, bid with confidence!
If I hadn't just bought another W123 I would be all over this. Thanks for letting me see the car in person when I was visiting Atlanta a couple weeks ago! Bid with confidence!
@R129hoarderYes, mine is an AMG Japan car as well.
@WDB748372When I bought my 6.0 I was under the impression that it was likely not a 6.0 engine. I had a friend look at it for me prior to purchasing and couldn't find any AMG stamps on the block. When I received the car, the only thing I could make out was a stamp that appeared to read 5.3? Not really sure as it was extremely difficult to make out. Regardless, nothing was stamped AMG but similar to this one, the radiator support sticker designated the engine as a 6.0 and was aged appropriately for the car. After purchasing the car, I had my mechanic measure the stroke as that was really the only way I could verify for sure and it turned out to be a 6.0 with a 95mm stroke. Driving it certainly feels like more torque and aggressive throttle response compared to a standard 5.0 as well. So many factors can effect the driving aspect though so that's not always a for sure sign.
@Shervin The former seller of the car is a well-respected and credible person in the community and has personally been familiar with this specific car since the early 90’s as it was residing in the LA area throughout those years. The former seller had been pursuing the vehicle over those many years from the original owner, and attested to the fact that the kit had been in place since day one. After finally acquiring it, he perfected the car cosmetically and swapped the 722.6 transmission into it as well. The AMG stamps were painted over during the repaint but that’s life. The car is listed with AMG in the title referring to the authentic AMG parts installed on the car prior to the modifications. Prior "authentic pre merger" listings that could be verified have specified language noting the location where the cars were built. It’s also worth noting that in the pre merger days a car could be ordered to spec of the owner and that included aesthetic updates only. While not an AMG motor car, those cars were still modified aesthetically by AMG in period and are considered as such. There are plenty of cars today with kits that have been “slapped” on, however, this is not one of them.
@JeffersonStPtsIt’s a really fun driving experience. Noticeable difference over a 500 or 600. The torque increase is what you notice the most. In my opinion, this is the perfect hot rod german roadster because you can get V12+ power but without the V12 complications.
For anyone interested in this car, I can attest to the originality and quality of this example. Not only did I have the pleasure of taking photos of the car for the listing, but I also drove the car and it's remarkably smooth and solid. I've taken many of my cars over the years to the seller for servicing because they're honest, knowledgeable, and do high quality work. Bid with confidence on this 560SEC!
@ArshadadnanThat won't count as a valid bid. Must have card on file
@Smcase22The very first W210 E55 I owned (about 8 years ago now) had this same clear coat failure on the top strip of the rear bumper. It was also Black 040. I was able to have that resprayed easily and it wasn't expensive either. A good compound and buff may bring it back without needing paint too. And I agree, these are among the best cars ever built and I still drive one daily today!
@JAB12@Mark I was fortunate enough to see and drive this car in person as well as speak with the current owner/collector. I found out they purchased the car in 2017 from the original owning family (son inherited from father). According to the original owner's son, the modifications were done in period and prior to 2018 when the car received a repaint and drivetrain modifications, the car had the kit, wheels, springs, shocks, gauges, and an AMG Momo M38 steering wheel. The current owner modified and restored the car to his liking which included the steering wheel, updated gauges, and a custom stainless steel exhaust among other things. With that being said, there's no claim that the engine is modified by AMG. Pre merger AMG cars 99% of the time do not have records (some that do are not authentic papers) and pre merger AMGs could be modified both mechanically and/or aesthetics only. Based on the origin of the car and in-period modifications the car had/has, I would deem it as an authentic AMG car that now has some modifications added to it. Was it built in Westmont or done by another authorized dealer? Unfortunately there's no way to confirm. For those interested in the car, I would encourage seeing the car in person as it does not disappoint in any way.
@EuroAutoPro Well done! I'll give you a call shortly!
@TomBuddTXI don't have a receipt from the Exhaust fix campaign/recall but I did go to the dealership today to inquire (photo of the car in the service bay added to gallery). They told me the recall was done in October 2021 by Mercedes-Benz of McKinney TX but were unable to provide any documentation or a VMI due to privacy laws- their words, not mine. But in short, yes it is done and I confirmed with Mercedes. The paint on the car is congruent all around and the less smooth/shiny that you're seeing in the photos is just reflection. The video may help to show that as well. I took paint meter readings today of every panel and also have uploaded those to the gallery. Each panel confirmed no paint work as all were approximately the same thickness. Thanks for the questions and let me know if there's anything additionally I can answer!
@TomBuddTX I love the wagons too! Unfortunately the wagons aren't offered in the States with the diesel configuration so Sport optioned sedan it was for me.
@Merriam_MercedesIt's less than both the reserve and value of the car.
@mtrappy Great point! Lots of miles and time left on those warrantied parts so this one can truly be enjoyed worry-free. Thanks the comment!
@McMinnowHey, it does not have adaptive cruise control, only standard. I purposefully wanted one without active lane keeping assist as one of my previous ones did have it and I wasn't personally a fan. Let me know if you have any other questions!
Welcome to the auction for my remarkably clean E250 BlueTEC! For those who don't know, this is the 3rd E250 I've owned over the last few years and by far the best one given the color and options. The original plan was to keep this one longterm as it does everything well. On roadtrips I can get close to 800 miles on one tank of gas and even normal driving it feels like a tank lasts forever. The car doesn't need anything and is fully ready to go for the next owner who I can confidently say will be extremely pleased! Bid with confidence and I'll be happy to answer any comments or questions the best I can. Thanks!
@thesheikhThank you, I hope to be able to get another sometime down the road (assuming one can be found). It's being replaced by another Mercedes diesel... but purpose will be a bit different as it will be a Sprinter van for business.
Good luck to everyone in the final minutes of the auction! Thank you to everyone who has stopped by to check out the listing and I know the next owner is going to be extremely happy with this rare AMG Wagon!
@lowphat88I’ve seen pictures of that before and it’s so good. I would too do that but reupholstering in Blue suede would not be fun
Already have a pretty good guess as to what they’re going in if @lowphat88 gets them!
@STARGAUDThat would be amazing. Can’t wait to see what these end up in!
@DigitalHey, this E63 is not a P30 equipped car so it does not have LSD. Thanks
@daroncpaI did not do any of the other fluids other than an oil and filter service. I asked my mechanic to do whatever he felt was necessary upon inspection and those were not done. I’m not sure if brakes are original or not but the pads appear to have been replaced at some point. The battery has shown no signs of fatigue and always started with no issue. Still, a new battery would likely be in order in the near future due to the date. Thanks
@StevieboyI do not have any prior service records from either previous owner but the service history records on the Carfax are all done by the dealer so I could likely get copies of those invoices I would think. I don't have the original window sticker and debated getting one of the reproductions from Stuttgart Studios which most sellers do today when the original is lost. The repros are actually very nice.
@CarCrazy24Thanks! This car has factory halogen headlamps. You could retrofit xenon bulbs easily as the headlights do have a projector lens already.
I really hate to see this one go as it really is a fantastic car. Unfortunately I can't keep them all and need to make room in the stable so the CDI is up for grabs! I've had the car since August of last year and driven it sparingly in dry weather only. Everything on the car functions properly and it gets excellent MPGs plus a ton of torque. I'll be monitoring daily for questions and thanks for stopping in!
@Terner10Fixing the pixels on the cluster is very easy and inexpensive. You can pull the cluster very easily and send it off to have them repaired for $150. Then just plug it back in when you get it back. Only takes a few days too. Swapping back to the OEM head unit should also be a simple switch for any audio shop. If you do switch back, you should get one of the OEM units from Becker in NJ that have bluetooth integrated into them.
@HighheatFrom what I’ve seen they were strong transmissions. I’ve got the same set up in my 07 E63 wagon with 108k miles and it still drives perfect. Very noticeable difference between Comfort and Sport too.
@Willjam6I assure you it is legit. Over $4 million worth of MBs sold since March. As a founding partner I'm happy to answer any questions you may have about the platform. Thanks
I've personally driven and seen this car in person and it is very very nice. One of the best maintained examples left without question. @Marathon4 The brake set up comes from an 07 SLK55 AMG @jgmsethi Original Monoblocks will fit but require a spacer in the front to clear the calipers. The previous owner specifically chose the SL55 wheels to avoid the need for a spacer and allowed the brakes to be seen behind the wheels.
@Ddeninno404Most auctions do have reserves. Those that don't will be clearly labeled as such in the listing title.
@babblerThe headliner hasn't been a terrible job from my experience. I've had it done 5 times now on different E55's I've owned over the years and it typically costs around $500 including the sunroof piece. I'm sure it depends on the area you are in as well.
@Vlad600selAh I see under the Quick Facts section. Good catch, I got it updated thanks
@Vlad600selDescription is correct, the car is titled in Montana. Thanks
@993tatsI'm trying to get my business partner at my auto storage facility to meter the car for me. I don't have a paint meter (ordered one and it's on the way though) but he does, once I get the readings I will upload. Thanks
@AMGmeisterI am unsure as to what Renntech did to the compression with the addition of the supercharger. In the acceleration video I did not floor it to prevent wheel spin so there's more power to put down. I can say that beyond 80mph it accelerates extremely quick with no signs of slowing down even as speed increases. Thanks
@993tats I assure you there are certainly no flood issues with this car as you allude to. If there was, Carfax would clearly label that as they do other reports I’m sure we have all seen. The car has lived in the New Orleans area for the majority of it’s life and always kept in climate controlled storage with a battery tender.
@edanetzThe only information I have on the modification are the items listed on the Renntech receipts. I know the O2 sensors were also replaced but from what I can see, high performance headers and downpipes were the primary exhaust modifications. Thanks
Welcome to the auction of my E55 AMG! This is a bittersweet listing for me. The W210 AMG is ultimately my favorite all-around Mercedes of all-time. In addition to this one, I still have three other E55’s, two E60’s, and an E430. All this to say, it’s time to let one go and make room for something new down the road. I can say with conviction that whoever ends up with this car will be more than satisfied, and replicating the quality of this build, in addition to the condition of the car, would be nearly impossible. Good luck bidding!
@css008I was interested in this as a fun driver for myself and showed pictures to my body guy here locally and he said $400-$800 depending on how far he'd need to go to ensure it's all out. Hope that helps!
@ArmenianThere's a shop local to me that can do a quality job on the headliners. They all do eventually begin to sag so it kind of comes with the territory for most of these cars. The shop is King's Upholstery in Roanoke, VA but I'm confident there would be a shop local to anyone that could also do this. When I've had it done in the past it was $400-450 including the sunroof.
@KorkmazI actually did this to my 1992 500SL and it was very simple. Can be done yourself in little time. I swapped to the all glass face euro headlights.
@iamthejd77Confirmed per the seller the wood is original in this car. I was actually fortunate enough to see this car in person and it is in amazing condition.
I want this just so I can use the reverse markers that pop up on the rear corners. Long live the 90s!
@naccerVery helpful information on sourcing this fabric! I'll have to see if they have the fabric I need for my Euro S123 driver seat.
This is one I would personally want in my collection. Hammer looks with an engine good for 500k miles every day of the week.
Congrats to buyer and seller! This is a clean R107 and I was super tempted myself!
@MBZTECHThanks! I was able to take another video showing the A/C and heat in action so hopefully this helps to show that the entire system is working flawlessly... did my best here. The video has been added to the listing.
@MBZTECHHey! I was able to spend some quality time with this car while taking photos and videos for the listing. The Eco button was purposefully on when the videos were shot. It was 39 degrees outside so there was no need to have the AC engaged. The AC does in fact worth flawlessly just to confirm. I'll try to take another video with the AC on this weekend.
@Vlad600sel 420 horsepower and 464 lb-ft of torque according to RENNtech
@ferrari400i Great speaking with you on the phone earlier about the ML. For others wondering the same, all electronics work on the ML including windows, sunroof, AC and heat. The brakes and rotors are in great shape and recently inspected by my mechanic to ensure there were no outstanding needs prior to the listing. The brakes are Brembo all around, branded RENNtech, so they are still available if the need was there to replace them in the future.
@selski You definitely can. I've owned a number of RENNtech vehicles including a few currently in addition to this one and they've always been super helpful. Typically, I'm able to get any parts needed from Mercedes as it's still an M113 under there. If there is a RENNtech specific part that's needed they will be glad to assist.
Thanks to everyone for checking out the auction for my ML60 RS RENNtech on The MB Market! I'll be checking periodically to answer any questions and am excited to see this ultra rare W163 RENNtech find a new home! The opportunity to own an authentic RENNtech build from this era, especially in the form of a W163, is almost nonexistent in today's market.
@albanianbenz That would be a pairing you couldn't find anywhere else! One for when you want to go fast, and another when you want to go really fast.
@albanianbenz Same same, but different, but still same.
I'm waiting for a giant bid from @blueridgeMB with 1 second remaining
I came to play today

Then just plug it back in when you get it back. Only takes a few days too. Swapping back to the OEM head unit should also be a simple switch for any audio shop. If you do switch back, you should get one of the OEM units from Becker in NJ that have bluetooth integrated into them.
