This 1992 Mercedes-Benz 500E is a European-market example that spent time in Japan before it was imported to the US by the seller this year. The car is finished in Black Pearl Metallic (199) over Grey leather (278) and powered by a 5.0-liter V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes 18″ AMG monoblock wheels, a sunroof, heated and power-adjustable front seats, automatic climate control, an electric rear roller blind, and an electrically adjustable side mirror. The car features a W124 facelift conversion with 94/95 year model headlights, hood, and grille. A new battery was installed along with a fresh oil and filter change in preparation for the sale. Now with 114k kilometers (~71k miles), this 500E is offered with the owner’s manuals, tool kit, all import paperwork, and a clean Florida title.
The car is finished in Black Pearl Metallic (199) with matching lower body cladding. Equipment includes European-spec fender lights, fog lights, headlight wipers, a sunroof with tilt function, and an automatic antenna. The 500E comes fitted with flared front and rear fenders along with widened bumpers and cladding to match compared to a standard W124. The frontend has been updated to a facelift style from that of a 94/95 model year which includes a new hood, grille, and headlights.
Factory 18” AMG monoblock wheels are fitted from a W210 E55 and wear Dunlop SP Sport tires measuring 235/40 in the front and 265/35 in the rear with 2021 date codes. The 500E featured Porsche-tuned suspension with a lower ride height than contemporary standard W124 models and also required a wider track for better handling.
The cabin features factory Recaro seats upholstered in Grey leather (278) which is also continued on to each door card. All leather remains in nice condition without any tears. Burl wood trim accents the dashboard, center stack in the front and rear, and door panels. The seller notes some hairline cracks are visible in the wood veneer around the window switches. Equipment includes power-adjustable and heated front seats, an electric rear roller blind, automatic climate control, and an updated head unit.
The four-spoke steering wheel fronts VDO instrumentation that includes a 260-km/h speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, an analog clock, and gauges for coolant temperature, fuel level, and oil pressure. The six-digit odometer shows 114k kilometers (~71k miles).
The 5.0-liter DOHC M119 V8 was factory rated at 322 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque when new. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed automatic transmission. The seller states that the car drives and performs with no known issues and a new batter was installed along with a fresh oil and filter service in preparation for the sale.
There is no Carfax report available for this 500E as it was recently imported into the United States. This Euro 500E is offered with the owner’s manuals, tool kit, all import paperwork, and a clean Florida title.

@124guy Danke!
@Nachoz No need for concern there. That's completely normal for a car of this age and actually above average compared to most I've seen. If you were to replace them, the last time I checked these could still be ordered through the dealer and aren't very expensive.

I am more concerned about the cracking on the intake coupling. Can you get those anymore? I know one thing; these guys sell some seriously sweet cars!
Underbody photos along with two videos showing the interior and exterior of the car have been added to the listing.
@Nishboo I will be out of town this weekend until Sunday evening. Would you be able to do one day this upcoming week? I'll be available any day if so. Thanks

Can the seller confirm that the odometer fully functionateable? I see from the old owner that the odometer is incorrect and has not working.
Are undercarriage photos coming soon? Videos too?
