@Armenian 1000%
if this car sells under $15k it will be a great investment. I see these cars prices climbing through the roof next 5 years. better than many other investments.

@LTbenz Those were definitely the good old days. I'd hope whoever buys this recognizes the value prop of this car as it is. Some light recon makes this a stellar 210.
@LTbenz Don't remind me haha. Even these W210 AMGs have already began to climb out of reach. There's so few with decent miles and no rust left

@MillerMack @Hoosiertown I remember only a few years ago you could pick up a nice 500E with around 100k miles for $10k... and to think I I didn't buy them all. Still kicking myself!

@Hoosiertown Perfect example is the 500E. I think you're spot on with these cars.

This will be one of those cars we all look back on and kick ourselves for not paying up for. $15k today will be a $30k car in the near future

Rust-free. That's a huge selling feature on W210s, as we now know, from how well the body holds up over time.
Even though this car needs some minor touches to be perfect, this might go super cheap for a rust free E55 under 100k miles. Wouldn't take much to make this a high teens car.

@UKCHAP Agreed, but these cars are selling for more than $28k for premium examples. A silver 1999 with 8k miles sold on here last month for $44k. Paint correction, headliner, wood and this car would be stellar.
$6,000 bid placed by @UKCHAP
It's a shame this E55 needs lots of professional paint correction/repaint. Values on the W210 are unpredictable in such a "Hot Market". For "Top-Notch" examples they will drive a good premium as much as $28,000 like on Bring A Trailer today. This one unfortunately needs work on the body and interior trim which will drive reconditioning costs into the thousands.. If it sells for a "reasonable price then it's worth making this one a Lady.

Wouldn't take much to make this a really nice car.

Fun driver here, could be an easy purchase with TLC over time. GLWTA!

I would drive the wheels off this and save the restoration work for the next owner when prices are high enough that it makes sense. I think you could still drive it for free for a couple years, and have a hell of a time doing it.
$250 bid placed by @Amgdude
Such a beautiful car, but needs some serious TLC.
