Nice job to both parties - great car at a very fair price. I should have bid!
@MelvinTanyer Congratulations on the win! I was about a half a second away from pushing it a bit more. Won't be seeing any in this nice of condition and history for a while I'm afraid.
Black, in my birth-year, and in absolutely stunning condition. This is one car I've wanted for a very very long time. Well fought @TheDanMan , you had me insanely scared

Geez this is a cool one, perfect example of maintenance history > Mileage. Rather have one of these with records like this has all day. GLWTA!
@alex210 - Thanks for the reply! I always look at tires and brakes (Tells you everything you need to know about an owner).

@webbedheeltoe Good eye! These are stainless brake lines with the upgraded brake kit. They are definitely stronger than the factory brakes although I haven't needed to really get on them yet. They were just installed less than 2 months ago so pads and rotors are near 100%.
@Alex210 are those stainless brake lines or is that just the light? Nice upgrade btw, bet these offer a lot of good feedback. Assume you've put them to the test, how noticeable is the stopping power compared to stock?
These SL55 wheels actually look a lot. better than I expected. They fit perfectly flush with the body which helps.

@MelvinTanyer Yes the metal ash try is still in place and the car has never been smoked in. Unfortunately I do not have the original monoblocks with the car anymore although sets can still be found.
two quick questions. Does the car still have the metal ash tray that is below the radio? And also I have to ask, assuming this gets sold, does the seller have the monoblocks and spacers and could those be purchased separately for a price?
These cars are still extremely undervalued and it's about time they receive the credit they deserve.
I'm not even a fan of the w210 but this is quickly changing my mind.
These things are so choice. Whoever did the write-up nailed it, it's basically a 4 door 911 or Corvette except somehow more reliable (and yes I know that's saying something). As I have pointed out elsewhere, the big difference I notice on these things is the weight. Yes they are substantially down on power vs the M113K, but they're also substantially down on weight and things which will break in the long-run. For daily driving and fun in the twisties it's a really hard combo to beat. I'm very much looking forward to the weather playing nice here in CT so I can get mine back out and put some s/miles on. Kudos on the brake upgrade by the way. The stock units work fine, but they aren't lookers. Maybe that's why the factory hid them behind the monoblocks. This setup looks wonderful. GLWA

That paint looks amazing even with the direct sunlight on it!
Now this is clean! You don't see these cars in this kind of condition anymore today! Kudos to seller
@MelvinTanyer The original monoblocks are not included with the sale. They will still work with a 10mm spacer if desired and this clears with no rubbing issues on the brakes or body. I preferred no spacers so switched to SL55 monoblock which allows these new brakes to be properly displayed too. Thanks!

Holy smokes! Are the Monoblocks included in this auction or would they have to be purchased seperately, and despite hiding them, would monoblocks be able to clear the new upgraded brakes?
