This 2008 Mercedes-Benz CLK63 AMG Cabriolet was originally sold by Mercedes-Benz of Dothan in Alabama where it remained being serviced by the selling dealer with the original owner until 2015. Finished in Black (040) over Black Nappa Leather (811), power is provided by a hand-built 6.2-liter M156 V8 mated to a seven-speed AMG SpeedShift automatic transmission driving the rear wheels. Recent service includes replacement of the left rear convertible top hydraulic strut assembly and top cover latch position switch. Factory equipment includes a power soft top, Bi-Xenon headlamps with Active Curve Illumination, heated and ventilated front seats, COMAND with navigation, dual-zone automatic climate control, parktronic, Keyless-Go, and a Harman/Kardon surround sound system. Now showing 108k miles, this CLK63 AMG Cabriolet is now being offered for sale in New York with both keys, the original manufacturer’s literature, a clean Carfax report and a clean Florida title.
The body is finished in Black (040) and features an insulated soft top with a heated glass rear pane. AMG body styling consists of a sculpted front air dam with mesh intakes, side skirts, rear apron, trunk lid spoiler and dual polished chrome AMG exhaust tips. Exterior features include Bi-Xenon headlamps and front fog lamps with Active Curve Illumination, rain-sensing wipers, a mesh air deflector, and heated power-adjustable door mirrors with an auto-dimming driver side. The seller notes a paint chip on the driver and passenger-side quarter panel as well as the driver door. No accidents or damage reports appear on the Carfax report.
Staggered 18” five-spoke AMG lightweight alloy wheels come wrapped in 225/45 Sentury tires up front and 255/35 Falken tires in the rear. Silver painted 6-piston AMG calipers bite down on perforated discs mounted to the front axle with four-piston units mounted at the rear.
The AMG sport seats are trimmed in Black Nappa Leather (811) with matching black AMG floor mats and Burl Walnut wood trim which lines the center console and door panels. Both front seats are heated and ventilated with multicontour adjustment for the driver side and show normal wear. Additional interior appointments include dual-zone automatic climate control, rubber studded stainless steel pedals, AMG door sills, a power tilt/telescope steering column, a leather wrapped gear selector with an engine start/stop button, COMAND with navigation, a 12-speaker Harman/Kardon Logic7 surround sound system and a 6-disc CD changer. A variable trunk compartment provides partitioned cargo space when the soft top is folded down. The seller notes the passenger-side door speaker is cracked.
The four-spoke AMG steering wheel fronts black gauges including a 200-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer and an analog clock. Digital instrumentation includes gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature, a configurable central display and a digital odometer which currently shows 108k miles from new.
This A209 is powered by a hand-built 6.2-liter naturally-aspirated V8 which produces 475 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through an AMG SpeedShift seven-speed automatic transmission which can be controlled via aluminum paddle shifters mounted behind the steering wheel. The Carfax report shows maintenance history by the original selling dealer up until 2015 with a total of 37 service history records. Service in October 2023 includes replacement of the left rear convertible top hydraulic strut assembly and top cover latch position switch.
The Carfax report shows linear mileage updates from new along with no accident or damage reports. This CLK63 AMG Cabriolet is now being offered for sale in New York with both keys, the original manufacturer’s literature, a clean Carfax report and a clean Florida title.

The Autocheck report has been added to the gallery.
FYI to the bidders, the convertible top is BRAND NEW, i replaced it 6 months ago and drove the car maybe 500 miles since i did the work. Happy bidding in the last minutes!
@zsabbagh1970 thank you for being super responsive !
@dnzautomotive just looked into it, it was a minor incident from 4 years ago. I guess it was too small for Carfax to catch it. but it is rated as a minor. I requested for the moderator to post the Autocheck report.
@zsabbagh1970 THANK YOU!
@dnzautomotive looking into it
any information on the accident showing on Autocheck, but not showing on Carfax ?

zsabbagh1970 What brand are the tires and what is the date code on them

@mikelaca This is in the range of engines with headbolt issues, but of the maybe 5% of cars that experience issues they should happen by the 60-80k mileage range. With 108k miles I doubt there's any need for concern.
@mikelaca Yes an original motor from 2008 would fall within the range
Can someone remind me, was the headbolt still an issue on this particular year?
