Reserve is off, this 190E is finding a new home!
Last day! We are here for any remaining questions.
Just would like to let all interested parties know that the 190E is available for in-person viewings at our Stratford, Connecticut showroom until the end of the auction. As we enter the final few days, we ask that any photo/video requests be made as early on as possible to give us enough time to gather and upload any specially requested information. Thanks for watching and bidding thus far!
@acd76Thanks for your question. It is normal for each panel to have slightly different readings commensurate with wear, how the paint was applied from the factory, etc. We took these photos recently as requested, and we didn't perfectly line up our meter with our previous meter reading spots- however, if you look at each panel measured, the readings are incredibly consistent from both sessions.
@roup1Correct; I will upload paint meter readings momentarily.
@roup1 The car was originally purchased in Indiana, and eventually in life the owner moved to New Hampshire. We have all of the original purchase agreement documentation from the dealer back in 1986!
Thank you for your comment, @BabyBenzFan ! We are right there with you- it has been an incredibly long time since we've come across a one owner, low mileage, 5 speed W201 that has not been modified! This example is a true time capsule; the scent of the interior immediately makes us reminisce and takes us right back to the 1980s.
