@CICbarkeep service records are with the original wheels and tires and not available to produce before the end of this auction.
@CICbarkeep as I said previously, service performed earlier this summer was professional performed but I will make right anything that was missed by the professionals. Thank you
@twokicks. Oil change and filter earlier this summer, battery date code is 2021 and was tested, no major work required. Thanks
@twoklicks in addition to the carfax report, all service records available will be included along with the set of original wheels and tires. Thanks
@twoklicks original wheels are in storage but will try to get a picture before the end of the auction Thanks
@Jesse soft top pictures and video will be for coming in the next day or two. I am aware of cylinder leaks issues on these tops but this one has no problems. Thanks
@LC762 owner has original wheels and tires that will go with new owner. Matt Little photography does a great job on the shots. Thank you
I closely examined front end and found no evidence of any frame damage and was not reported in any maintenance/repair reports. Driver’s side front fender was resprayed due to a minor accident. It was not removed from car.
@meziks Yes a inspection is possible contact me through mbmarket. Thanks
Hello, and thanks for everyone's interest in this wonderfully well preserved roadster, the market for these last generation of the R107 (and the best gen!) are on the rise, and are just a pleasure to drive. Good luck, and please let me know it you have any questions. I will be adding more pictures and a video soon.
@classicsurvivors I have a number of other 560SL in Red that should be coming to MBmarket soon.
Thanks to all who have an appreciation for the early R107s. High bid is very close to my reserve, contact MBmarket agents to discuss a settlement on the final price.
@Motts71 I was out of town and just returned. Posting additional pictures shortly, thanks.
@tcstraker pictures will be added shortly, I was out of town or I would have the up earlier. thanks.
Thanks to MBmarket for the consignment......I am a SL collector, a Mercedes Benz Concours Judge, and a true admirer of the Sport-Leights. Along with it's predecessors, the W113 and the W121, the R107s are fast becoming favorites in the Mercedes collector world.....The US was the target market for the models selling nearly 70% of the total production here. The 1974 was the last of the early 107s to be void of a catalytic converter, but was the first of the line to wear the US bumpers....hated by some....practical by most. The M117 4.5L case block engine was the most durable and most widely utilized power plant in Mercedes vehicles at that time. I am reluctantly selling to provide much need work area in my garages. Thank you in your interest in my roadster.
