All of the surface rust on front end components that were only primered from the factory were descaled, and the entire bottom cleaned and coated with an anticrosion primer. As I live in the northeast, and this car wasn't driven in bad weather.
Just a comment on my car. I cannot believe that you find a nicer 2006 S320 just over 50,000 miles that is in better total condition than this car. It was garaged always, always serviced up to date and is near perfect as a carpets age can be. I have gone through the car and taken my mechanic’s advice and done everything he suggests that I do. I called this recommissioning and I’m getting this car and driving it anywhere.
@JoeyBenz08Joey the repairs were done by my European car mechanic at PD in East Providence, Rhode Island. With my European car experience of over 50 years Phil is a very talented mechanic. He also did a supplementary repair doing a full tune. I apologize for the quality of the invoice, not sure why that’s what he had to give me.
@UncleFred1 1. As for the wiring harness on the engine, one of the first things I check is the wiring harness. Wiring harness is in good order and appears to have been replaced at some point. We found no issues with the wiring harness. 2. This vehicle does not have air suspension. 3. I have asked for new VMI to be run updated moment it’s in my hands. 4. The only thing I question is inflatable lumbar. It appears to periodically work. Other than that, everything in this car works starts shifts drives operates perfectly. @JoeyBenz08There appears to have been no damage to the hood. It is perfectly finished and the color matches perfectly. I have measured the paint on the entire hood, and the numbers are consistent throughout which would not be the case if repairs had been made. All this leads me to believe it was painted for a cosmetic reason. There are a few very minor marks on the finish. As the entire car except the hood is original paint, I thought it best to leave them as they are. There are no door dings.

@magurastreet This car was traded to me on another vehicle. He purchased it from a NJ dealer, At the time it was a one owner car. It would appear that dealer may have purchased the car at an auction. The car is in outstanding condition! The transaction doc's where my customer purchased this car go with the car records to the buyer. As a note the car my customer purchased from me has also been traded on another car!!
