GoBoGo: Its a Unique combo with the color, manual transmission, cloth interior, 4 door, which was never offered in US. And like you said it has plenty of Torque being Diesel. Turns heads every time on the streets.
w124123mb: I am not aware of any work done to the Birfields. There is no leaking or grease around the joints. its Dry.
Braingears: This vehicle did not come with A/C from factory. this came with Non Turbo 603. not aware of any engine upgrades or replacement. Rear Driveshaft was spot welded. Replaced with a used shaft. picture was taken at shop during replacement. was not driven without the shaft at all. I have not driven the vehicle in 4 lo. but transfer case does engage. Differential locks does turn on. not sure if it has vacuum issues.
what's Tariff/Import duty like to bring this to US

I had Giovanna 20" Chrome Wheels. When I swapped the 16" OEM wheels the shop just had 5 aftermarket Lug nuts for each wheels. Didn't get a chance to get Original Lug nuts from MB

Same here. That what I thought so too. These were made in 1998.
They were all removed when I bought the vehicle . The seller didn't like badges on his vehicle.
