This 1990 Mercedes-Benz 300GD is a long wheelbase version that was initially delivered in Germany and imported to the US from Belgium by the seller in April 2025. Finished in Spruce Green Metallic over Grey upholstery, power is provided by a 3.0-liter diesel inline-six linked with a 5-speed manual transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and three locking differentials. Additional equipment includes 15″ alloy wheels, anti-lock brakes, a sunroof, a front brush guard, a trailer hitch, a cassette stereo, power windows, central locking, and a cabin heater. Service in 2025 consisted of rebuilding a wheel bearing, an oil change, and installing a Wilwood brake-proportioning valve along with replacing the serpentine belt and rear driveshaft. Showing 360k kilometers (~223k miles), this 300GD is offered with a recent service record, one key, a clean Carfax report, and a Pennsylvania title in the seller’s name.
This W463 is finished in Spruce Green Metallic and comes fitted with a chrome front brush guard and rear mounted spare. Other exterior features include side marker lights on the front fenders, a sliding steel sunroof, fog lights, rubber side mouldings, a trailer hitch, and single rear door at the rear. The seller states there is no rust on the body and all lights are original.
Five-spoke 15″ alloy wheels are mounted with BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A white-letter tires. A spare wheel and tire is secured on the rear cargo door. Braking is provided by front discs and rear drums with ABS. The front-left wheel bearing was rebuilt in September 2025 along with the installation of a Wilwood brake-proportioning valve.
The cabin is upholstered in Grey cloth across the front and rear seats, door cards, and rear cargo door with the upper dashboard finished in black. A newer style OEM Mercedes-Benz head unit has been installed and Zebrano wood trim adorns the dash and center console. All weather rubber floor mats are installed and additional features include power windows, central locking, and a split-folding rear bench seat.
The four-spoke steering wheel frames a 180-km/h speedometer and a tachometer with an inset clock as well as gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 360k kilometers (~223k miles), approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership. The seller notes the ABS indicator light comes on intermittently, and the speedometer and tachometer needles are sometimes erratic.
The 3.0L OM603 naturally aspirated inline-six diesel was factory rated at 148 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque when new. Power is sent to all four wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and locking front, center, and rear differentials. An oil change and serpentine-belt replacement were performed in January 2025. The rear driveshaft was replaced in September 2025 along with new brake lines and a brake fluid flush.
