The posting states a removeable hard top is included, but I see no pictures of it. Could you please post a couple of the top on the car?
This seems like a really nice specimen. I concur the painted center caps are an excellent pairing to these early cars. Love that it still does not have catalytic converters as well. Personally I always liked the way the US bumpers looked on these... or at least I was never offended by the design like the europeans are!
Very pleasant example! Love seeing the 450's with the painted center caps like this.

Stunning color! Proper classic Benz palette.
Thanks to MBmarket for the consignment......I am a SL collector, a Mercedes Benz Concours Judge, and a true admirer of the Sport-Leights. Along with it's predecessors, the W113 and the W121, the R107s are fast becoming favorites in the Mercedes collector world.....The US was the target market for the models selling nearly 70% of the total production here. The 1974 was the last of the early 107s to be void of a catalytic converter, but was the first of the line to wear the US bumpers....hated by some....practical by most. The M117 4.5L case block engine was the most durable and most widely utilized power plant in Mercedes vehicles at that time. I am reluctantly selling to provide much need work area in my garages. Thank you in your interest in my roadster.
