This 1995 Mercedes-Benz E320 Cabriolet was initially sold new by Gulf Stream Motors, Inc. out of West Palm Beach, Florida by the original and current owner who used it as his beach house car. The odometer shows just over 30k original miles from new. It spent time in West Palm Beach, St. Simons Island, and Atlanta, Georgia and now resides in Marietta, Georgia where it is on consignment through the selling dealer as a running and driving project car. Finished in Smoke Silver Metallic (702) over Beige Leather (265), power is provided by a 3.2-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed automatic transmission driving the rear wheels. Equipment includes heated and power-adjustable front seats, a power-operated black soft top, power mirrors, cruise control, a driver and passenger airbag, central locking, and a factory Becker head unit. The included Carfax report shows 3 service hits and 4 owners, however this is because the car bounced between residences as the original owner moved throughout the decades. Recent services in preparation for the sale are new tires, alignment, hood star, hood pad, and an oil change. This E320 Cabriolet is now offered for sale by the selling dealer on consignment as a running and driving project car that is largely original out of Marietta, Georgia with a first aid kit, originally optioned draft deflector, stamped service booklet, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Georgia title.
The exterior is finished in Smoke Silver Metallic (702) with light gray lower body cladding and a chrome belt line. Features include an electrically-operated black fabric soft top with an electrically heated rear window. The top is reported to be in good condition with no rips or tears but fails to extend back up and will need servicing. Exterior equipment includes headlamp wiper/washers, central locking, an automatic antenna, heated and power-adjustable door mirrors, and a pop-up roll bar. The pop-up roll bars do extend when the brake pedal is pressed past 50%. The seller reports this might have to deal with the ABS light on the dashboard. However, the roll bars are able to be retracted with the press of the button on the dashboard. The rear bumper shows damage with most of the missing chunks in the trunk. The front bumper also shows scrapes on the front driver corner and the lower cladding exhibits streaks and runs on top of the paint. Paint is lifting in the door sill on the passenger side as photographed in the gallery. Glass is original to the car and paint meter readings are provided by the seller. All windows do work as shown in the video.
This example wears polished-faced 15” 8-hole wheels wearing Westlake Radial RP18 tires with 2024 date codes on all four corners and were mounted/balanced in preparation for the sale. Some wheels show light curb rash. The A124 came standard with ABS. In March of 2024 at 30,108 miles, a front end steering refresh was performed including shock absorbers, tie rod assemblies, center drag link, steering damper, and shifter bushings.
The cabin is upholstered in Beige Leather (265) and features matching beige carpets and Burl Walnut wood trim which lines the center console, dashboard and door panels. There appear to be zero cracks in the veneer and little sun damage. Both front seats are heated and power operated and show some wear. The headrests do not articulate, but the motor does run when the switch is pressed showing it’s been broken off the internal slide rail. Interior appointments include automatic climate control, cruise control, a passenger and driver airbag, automatic seat belt presenters, a power telescoping steering column, and a factory head unit. The cruise control is inoperable and only the passenger seat belt presenter works as intended. The driver side presenter motor does turn, but it appears to be derailed internally. Black Mercedes-Benz floor mats are included. There are deep stains in the rear passenger footwell carpet.
The four spoke steering wheel frames analog instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, an analog clock and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature and oil pressure. A digital outside temperature sensor can be found mounted below. The six-digit odometer shows just over 30k miles from new. White dots are present on the black ABS plastic inside of the instrument cluster.
This A124 is powered by a 3.2-liter DOHC inline-six which produces 217 horsepower and 229 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission. The included Carfax report shows 3 service history records with a stamped service book showing service intervals done based on mileage. The magnesium valve cover shows no exterior bubbling or disintegration. An oil change was done in preparation for the sale and a coolant flush was done in early 2024. The seller states this M104 engine retains its original biodegradable wiring harness and cut open one the sleeves of the upper harness in the video to show that the cabling hasn’t cracked yet. The sticker on the harness plugging into the ECU block is dated 1994. The rear driver corner of the mating surface between the block and cylinder head is showing signs of oil leaking which is both caused by a valve cover gasket and a head gasket. M104 head gaskets fail externally as their oil passages are very close to the edge and the original gaskets were prone to failure, but the cars are still functional even under these conditions and can be driven reliably.
This E320 Cabriolet is now offered for sale by the selling dealer through consignment for the original owner as a running and driving project car and includes a first aid kit, originally optioned draft deflector, a clean Carfax report, one key, and a clean Georgia title.
The seller has included the following underside inspection, walk-around, and driving video:
We’ve rescued and refreshed countless Mercedes-Benz vehicles ourselves over the past twenty years. To a normal person, it’s like taking in a stray cat, feeding them warm milk, nursing strength and confidence back into a living and breathing animal that deserves love and a second chance. It’s infinitely satisfying and rewarding when you do just that to a car. This handsome E320 cabriolet sports one owner from new and incredibly low mileage. The seller reports that as much as they want to get this car straight and to its former glory, there’s just no time and space for it even though there’s good profit to be had – it’s best to sell it here because The MB Market has the user base that understands the needs of this car and the fervor to get it on the road again. The A124 is a perpetually fixable and serviceable car as long as they don’t rust which makes this 30k mile E320 a wonderful candidate for someone to breathe a second life into this example. The seller has made sure the car is running and driving with fresh tires, gas, oil, and an alignment so the winning bidder can arrive at the dealership and safely drive it back home if they are close enough to Marietta, Georgia.

Beautiful example. Hope it does well.
Good morning/afternoon all, thanks for taking a look at our low mileage E320 Cabrio. We've known this car for 20+ years as the initial owner was a good client and well-known public figure. He had a number of cool MB's throughout his tenure and while some were nicer than this one, it is what it is at this stage. This car remained at a coastal property in Georgia for the family where it received regular servicing but over the years the cosmetics continued to go downhill. As the guys at MBM pointed out, our goal is to see this go to a good home that will bring it back to life/enjoy the hundreds of thousands of miles this cab has left to give. We understand every car isn't for every enthusiast, we ask that comments be kept constructive and helpful. Beyond that, let us know as questions arise and we'll be around to answer. Enjoy the near 300 photos of this cab along with the THOROUGH 20+ minute video.
