This 2002 Mercedes-Benz G500 Grand Edition was first sold and registered in Massachusetts with Pennsylvania, and California noted subsequently. It shows 3 owners since new, a clean history, regular maintenance, and only 55k original miles. Only 500 Grand Editions were produced and this example is shown to be number 121 of 500. Finished in Jet Black (9040) over a Black leather interior, this SUV is powered by a 5.0L M113 engine driving all four wheels. Equipment includes a power tilt/slide sunroof, power heated front seats, a heated rear bench seat, three lockable differentials, and an upgraded head unit with Bluetooth capabilities. The included Carfax report shows 33 service history records, and the seller has included the last 2 years plus of records from their ownership in the photo gallery. This includes remedying any PPI issues noted upon purchase, as well as a full “B” service, a new window regulator, a new headliner and several small repairs, culminating in a second full “B” service at Mercedes of Beverly Hills in October of 2024. Upon completing the sale a lien will need to be satisfied by the seller and payoff documents have been logged. The exterior is finished in Jet Black (9040) and shows original paint with paint meter readings provided in the gallery. The seller notes this example to be rust-free and the exterior shows little wear. Exterior equipment includes halogen headlamps with heated washers, halogen fog lamps, a heated windshield washer system, a power tilt/slide sunroof, and a rear-mounted spare tire with paint-matched cover. A small hand-created indentation is noted at the right rear of the truck from being pushed onto the service lift in August of this year. The Nov 2024 service notes a slow air pump on the dynamic driver’s seat, but all bladders are holding air, the hesitation with the driver’s backrest recline button self-corrected. Factory 18” 5-Spoke wheels wear Yokohama all-season tires measuring 265/60 at all four corners. Coil suspension and disc brakes are tucked behind each wheel. The wheels show little wear. 

The cabin is trimmed in Black leather with matching leather on the upper door panels and dashboard while Burl Walnut wood trim lines the center console. Both front seats are power adjustable and heated with three-position memory and the rear bench seat is heated on each side. Interior features include a power tilt/telescoping steering wheel, cruise control, dual-zone automatic climate control, and an aftermarket touchscreen head unit. The original COMAND head unit is included in the sale along with new-old stock Grand Edition floor mats. 

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer with a central-mounted digital display as well as a 6k-rpm tachometer, a fuel gauge, coolant temperature and digital displays for outside temperature and time. The digital odometer shows 55k original miles. No pixels are missing in the display. 

This G500 is powered by a 5.0-liter M113 V8 which is factory rated at 302 horsepower and 336 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission and a dual-speed transfer case.  The included Carfax report shows 33 service history records and the seller will include the last 2 years or records with the sale from their ownership.
