Features include a power sliding sunroof with tilt function, headlight washers with automatic wipers, fog lights, and a pillarless window design. The seller believes the front driver fender has been previously repainted under prior ownership. The Carfax report is clean with no accidents or damage reported. The front headlight surrounds were recently replaced in preparation for the sale.
This example retains the original 8-hole wheels measuring 15x7 on all four corners. The wheels are wrapped in Federal Super Steel 657 tires measuring 205/60 on all corners.
The cabin is trimmed in Beige Leather (265) across the seats, door cards, armrest, and dashboard. Additional leather-trimmed features include the steering wheel and shift knob. All leather surfaces are reported to be original and nicely kept with no tears or scuffs. The Black dashboard is free from cracks along with the door cards and rear headrests. The center console, dash, and doors are trimmed in original Burl Walnut wood and shows some light cracking under the shifter surround. Interior features include an Apline head unit, automatic climate control, power mirrors, and power folding rear headrests.
The analog odometer shows just under 134k original miles. Instrumentation includes a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer with a 6,400-rpm redline, and an analog odometer with trip function. Additional gauges include fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure along with an analog clock and digital external temperature gauge.
The 3.2-liter M104 inline-six was rated at 217 horsepower and 229 lb-ft of torque when new. Recent service in preparation for the sale includes new spark plugs and a fresh oil service. @Danilacosmin1985 I have emailed them to be uploaded to the auction, they look very nice.
Hello. Any fotos of the jacking point with the caps off? Thank you

The auction ends today! I'll be around if there are any last minute questions. I should also add that of all of the vehicles I have auctioned, I have 100% sell rate - you can trust that you are getting a quality vehicle from me! Good luck bidders!
@pbfoot42 the spare is in good shape but appears to be the original spare tire.

@pbfoot42 you are correct, there is some crazing on the paint on the sunroof. I will check the spare next time I am at the vehicle. If you would prefer to have new tires on the car for the drive home, you can have tires shipped to us and we will mount and balance them for you at no charge. If my husband and I were in your position, we would not hesitate to drive it home; that said, I obviously cannot make any guarantees as it is a 31 year old car and anything can happen!
Maybe it's my imagination, but the walkaround video seems to show some paint crazing or cracking on the exterior of the sunroof panel. Can you address this? Also, do you feel the buyer should feel comfortable driving the car a couple thousand miles home upon purchase? What condition is the spare tire in, should one of those 14-year-old tires decide to come apart? Thank you for all of your prompt answers!
@Static50 yes the cruise control works!
Is cruise control operational?

@pbfoot42 I just took additional photos of the area you asked about and emailed them to be uploaded to the auction.
@pbfoot42 the tires are dated 2010 but are in really nice shape. I know the gauge cluster spots are common in W124s but I asked a friend who repairs gauge clusters and this is what he said: Those are a chemical reaction caused from age, heat, and humidity. They most commonly affect the W201, W124, and W126 chassis due to the type of porous plastics that Mercedes-Benz used at that time. The dash is one of the most heated up areas in the interior of these cars and the design of these clusters didn't allow for trapped air and humidity to breath out of the housing; thus causing them to start developing these “pits or spores”. They can be cleaned. I’ll get a closer look at the spot in photo 22, it might just be tire shine. I’ll be able to get my eyes on the car in about an hour. The pinstriping is painted on. The windows are tinted and the streaks you are seeing are in the tint on the door windows.
Thanks for your reply. A few more questions: What is the date code on the tires? In photo 38, the gauge cluster seems to have some sort of damage to the black plastic, almost like it has been partially melted? In photo 22, is that mud splattered behind the front tire, or is there some paint chip repair that has been done there? Is the pinstriping on the car painted on, or is it vinyl stickers? Some vertical lines are visible on the windows in photos 27 and 31. Are those scratches in the window or window tint (and can you confirm whether there is tint film applied to the windows)? Thank you
@pbfoot42 we purchased this car from an estate so we do not have much maintenance history on it, all I can say is that it runs and drives perfectly and does not currently have any issues or needs.
Can you elaborate on whether this car has suffered from model-typical issues such as needing a replacement wiring harness and/or head gasket?

Welcome to the auction of my 1993 300CE! This is a super clean example, no rust and overall in very nice shape. It runs and drives beautifully! You would never know this car has 133k miles on it, it has obviously been well cared for. My husband and I have owned 25+ older Mercedes and the 124 chassis is one of our favorites. We also own an E320 convertible and a 300TE, which has 198k miles and is the best driving car we have ever owned. These cars were built to last and it certainly shows with this gorgeous coupe. Feel free to ask questions and I will do my best to respond quickly!
