@Danilacosmin1985I have emailed them to be uploaded to the auction, they look very nice.
The auction ends today! I'll be around if there are any last minute questions. I should also add that of all of the vehicles I have auctioned, I have 100% sell rate - you can trust that you are getting a quality vehicle from me! Good luck bidders!
@pbfoot42the spare is in good shape but appears to be the original spare tire.
@pbfoot42you are correct, there is some crazing on the paint on the sunroof. I will check the spare next time I am at the vehicle. If you would prefer to have new tires on the car for the drive home, you can have tires shipped to us and we will mount and balance them for you at no charge. If my husband and I were in your position, we would not hesitate to drive it home; that said, I obviously cannot make any guarantees as it is a 31 year old car and anything can happen!
@Static50yes the cruise control works!
@pbfoot42I just took additional photos of the area you asked about and emailed them to be uploaded to the auction.
@pbfoot42the tires are dated 2010 but are in really nice shape. I know the gauge cluster spots are common in W124s but I asked a friend who repairs gauge clusters and this is what he said: Those are a chemical reaction caused from age, heat, and humidity. They most commonly affect the W201, W124, and W126 chassis due to the type of porous plastics that Mercedes-Benz used at that time. The dash is one of the most heated up areas in the interior of these cars and the design of these clusters didn't allow for trapped air and humidity to breath out of the housing; thus causing them to start developing these “pits or spores”. They can be cleaned. I’ll get a closer look at the spot in photo 22, it might just be tire shine. I’ll be able to get my eyes on the car in about an hour. The pinstriping is painted on. The windows are tinted and the streaks you are seeing are in the tint on the door windows.
@pbfoot42we purchased this car from an estate so we do not have much maintenance history on it, all I can say is that it runs and drives perfectly and does not currently have any issues or needs.
I just sold this car's twin on here a couple weeks ago, same color, one year older, nearly same mileage. And this one is a one owner car which is great! These are amazing cars for sure. Watching this one! Good luck to the seller.
Welcome to the auction of my 1993 300CE! This is a super clean example, no rust and overall in very nice shape. It runs and drives beautifully! You would never know this car has 133k miles on it, it has obviously been well cared for. My husband and I have owned 25+ older Mercedes and the 124 chassis is one of our favorites. We also own an E320 convertible and a 300TE, which has 198k miles and is the best driving car we have ever owned. These cars were built to last and it certainly shows with this gorgeous coupe. Feel free to ask questions and I will do my best to respond quickly!
You guys are so close!!
Decided to lower the reserve a bit this morning. I hate to see it sell for less than what it’s worth, but we have 13 cars at the moment and need to thin the herd. Otherwise I’d be keeping this wagon for many years to come! I have a feeling someone will be winning a great car for a great price today!
Final day! I’ll be around if there are any last minute questions. Don’t miss out on this gorgeous, low mileage wagon!
@Tsantos0913rides like you would never know the springs are cut! This is only way to lower them as they don’t make springs for the 4Matic S210s. The stance is perfect and the ride is great!
@GRatlpictures of the battery tray and bottoms of the doors have been uploaded. The only rust is a small spot above the seal on the front passenger door.
@GRatlsure, where under the door seals would you like to see? It will probably be tomorrow before I can get those.
@GRatlit does appear to be sagging a little over the cargo area, but honestly I didn’t notice it until you said something. It doesn’t look bad in person.
WOW. As an owner of an 83 300TD manual with 120k miles, it's rare to find one as nice or even nicer than mine. Definitely watching this one, good luck to the seller!
@GregFI appreciate the info. Good to know it might just be normal for these cars. We replaced the motor and transmission mounts. It’s very minor, but I wanted to make sure the buyer is aware of everything.
@assistboyyes it vibrates slightly when warm, nothing too concerning but I try to be fully transparent when selling a car. We have replaced the transmission mount and spark plugs. We have not addressed it beyond that because it was so minor.
@GregFthank you for the kind words! We put Continental radios in all of our older Benzes, they don’t look too out of place while offering Bluetooth functionality. This has been a great wagon for us and with only 81k miles it still has lots of life left for the next owner!
I realized during the walk around video that the passenger fog light was burnt out. It has since been replaced!
Hello and thanks for viewing my wagon! I bought this car a year and a half ago after a lengthy search for a clean S210. After owning an S123, S124, S212 and S213, it seemed only fitting to add this to my collection. Unfortunately it is time for me to part with it as we currently are maxed out on storage and we need to thin the herd a bit. You will be hard pressed to find a nicer example - although it does have a couple small rust spots (I think every S210 has rust below the rear glass), they are easily fixed and overall the car is super clean, the interior still looks new. The stock wheels and tires will be included in the sale. I will be available to answer questions/comments as the auction progresses!
@Dchesrowngood to know. As far as leaks - I was actually asking about coolant/oil type leaks. Thanks.
Have you experienced any electrical issues due the water intrusion? Any current leaks?
@Sancemunfortunately Carfax is not available for cars older than 1981.
@SellCLEyou're right, I don't see the videos either. I'll make sure they get posted.
@Jacksonwe are not the original owner. Tires need replaced - if you win the auction and want us to install new tires, we’ll do the installation free of charge. Just have the tires shipped to us and we’ll take care of the rest.
@Walter578yes it rides great on the highway, however the steering coupler does need rebuilt or replaced. The steering is loose, as you can see in the video.
Reserve is off! Next bidder gets it!
@SellCLEheat blows hot and AC blows cold!
Thanks for the response - any chance we can see a driving video? Is there an exhaust leak? It sounds a little loud.
Couple of questions - does the driver seat slide forward? If so, how much? I am 5'2" so I need to be able to slide the seat up to reach the pedals in a manual car. I see in the pictures it is all the way back. Also, does the rear seat have seatbelts?
Absolutely stunning wagon. GLWS!
Can I please see a copy of the Carfax? What exactly happened with the mileage discrepancy?
All parts listed are NEW with the exception of the engine, exhaust manifolds and wiring harness. Also, a good detail should get a lot of the scratches out, particularly on the hood.
