The exterior is finished in Tourmaline Green Metallic (269) and features an electrically-operated black fabric soft top with an electrically heated rear window and a removable draft deflector. Exterior equipment includes headlamp wiper/washers, central locking, an automatic antenna, heated and power-adjustable door mirrors and a pop-up roll bar. An accident reported on the Carfax report shows damage to the rear left of the vehicle in 2002 with no current signs of repair. Between November 2022 - June 2023 the hydraulic cylinders for the top were rebuilt. The soft top canvas and headliner were replaced in December 2023 and a new convertible top control unit installed in January 2024.
Factory 15” 8-hole alloy wheels have been fitted with Michelin Defender tires measuring 195/65 on all four corners. showing date codes from 2018. The front brake pads were recently replaced in November 2024.
The cabin is upholstered in Mushroom Leather (265) and features matching beige carpets and Burl Walnut wood trim which lines the center console, dashboard and door panels. Both front seats are heated and power operated with two-position memory for the driver. Interior appointments include automatic climate control, cruise control, a passenger airbag, automatic seat belt presenters, a power telescoping steering column, and original head unit. The four-spoke steering wheel frames analog instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, an analog clock and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature and oil pressure. A digital outside temperature sensor can be found mounted below. The seller replaced the rheostat in November 2024. The six-digit odometer shows just under 57k miles.
This A124 is powered by a 3.2-liter DOHC inline-six which produces 217 horsepower and 229 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission. The wiring harness has been updated showing a Delphi tag dated August 2013. The most recent service included a new fuel pressure regulator, oil pan cover plate, and front brake pads. Service records since 2014 are included and viewable in the photo gallery.
The Carfax report shows registration history exclusively in Georgia and North Carolina since new. Linear mileage updates are noted along with the aforementioned accident in 2002. @froederick74 The only non-functional item that I am aware of is the CD changer. It will shuttle through each of the 6 discs and begin to spin, but an error message appears on the head control display. Also, the radio works but the volume control is erratic. Very impressive vehicle and the maintenance that's been done recently - not least of which, the wiring harness. Are there any other service issues a new owner would want to know (and not be surprised) about? Oil/fluid leaks, door/soft top seals, window operation issues, shifting issues, corrosion, rattles, service lights, etc.? Great looking car and looks really well cared for. I do not have any of the original owner's service records, so I can't determine the extent of the damage or the cost of the repair. I have carefully inspected the left rear corner of the car and cannot find any evidence of the damage or the repair.The Carfax report notes moderate damage sustained to the rear left corner in December 2022.
