The body is finished in Flint Gray Metallic (368) and features AMG-design bodywork including a sculpted front and rear bumper with mesh intakes, side skirts and polished chrome exhaust tips. Exterior equipment includes Bi-Xenon headlamps with Active Curve Illumination, heated headlamp washers, power mirrors, rain-sensing wipers, Keyless-Go, an electronic trunk closer, an aftermarket tow hitch and a panorama glass sunroof. The seller reports that the sunroof motor was recently replaced in January 2023. The bumper was previously replaced and later received touch-up work after a minor rear end incident which is shown on the Carfax in September 2022.
The 18” AMG five-spoke alloy wheels come fitted with a set of Forceum tires up front measuring 245/40 and Cosmo rear tires which measure 265/35. The AMG brakes and rotors were replaced by the seller less than 300 miles ago. The Airmatic suspension uses an AMG-tuned Adaptive Damping system to provide both adjustable ride height and stiffness. The seller reports that the car pulls slightly right and has a squeaking noise when turning left at low speed.
The front sport seats are trimmed in Ash Nappa Leather (585) with a matching gray alcantara headliner, gray all-weather floor mats and Bird’s Eye Maple wood trim which lines the center console, dashboard and door panels. Both front seats are heated and ventilated with three-position memory for passenger and driver. Interior appointments include four-zone automatic climate control, COMAND with DVD navigation, a Harman/Kardon Logic7 surround sound system, a power rear sunshade, rear side-window sunblinds and a 60/40 split folding second row. The seller notes that the rear headliner is beginning to sag.
The leather-wrapped AMG performance steering wheel fronts a 200-mph speedometer with a central configurable display along with an 8k-rpm tachometer, an analog clock and digital gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer currently shows 134k miles with 4k miles added by the current owner.
This W211 AMG is powered by a hand-built 6.2-liter M156 V8 engine which is factory rated for 507 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed SpeedShift automatic transmission with paddle shifters. Additional maintenance items performed by the seller in the past 1k miles includes a transmission fluid change, an engine oil and oil filter change and new motor mounts. Partial service history is included with the car. The seller notes an oil leak coming from the rear main seal.
The Carfax report shows first registration in Delaware with later registration in Illinois, South Carolina, and most recently, North Carolina. Linear Mileage updates are shown from new along with regular service visits. The aforementioned damage report is shown in 2022 with damage listed as minor and no other accidents or damage reports appearing on the Carfax. This 2007 E63 AMG is now offered for sale at no reserve by the current owner in Apex, North Carolina with a clean North Carolina title in the seller’s name.
A start-up and walk-around video has been provided by the seller below.
The W211 has been a favorite among enthusiasts for many years now and often hailed as the perfect size, and the perfect amount of tech vs. tradition. With the quad-headlight setup, these cars harken back to Sacco-era styling days when Mercedes were built to be the best and, as evidenced by the number of W211s still on the road, they towed the reliability line as well. The AMG variants from 2005-2009 were really the peak of W211 enthusiast enjoyment and this example could serve as a daily driver or enthusiast toy for anyone wise enough to plunk down dollars while these are still surprisingly affordable. Finished in a classy color combination and with a fresh service, this example should prove to be an excellent addition to any enthusiast’s garage.

Someone is going to get a great deal here! Just curious... why were single-piece front rotors installed, instead of the original 2-piece floating rotors?

It appears that the underside photos have not been uploaded. If anyone is interested in seeing pictures of the underside I can gladly reach out to you individually with photos. My Instagram handle is @troy_toler or I can provide a phone number.
Great car. Someone is going to get a great value here. Elite level bang for the buck.
Also forgot to mention, pardon the wetness of the underside, as we had to move the vehicle into our lift bay and it was raining heavily.
Under body photos should be uploaded soon, the only rust I was able to find was on the exhaust bracket, and I did include a photo of that.
@Jmoss57 Hello, there are virtually no signs of rust anywhere on the vehicle, I will get some under body pictures up ASAP. When doing the brake job, the wheel bearings felt firm and did not seem to need to be adjusted.
Any signs of rust on the vhicle? Can you include under body pictures. Were wheel bearings adjusted using a dial caliper to specs and was MB wheel bearing grease used. Thanks.
Hello all, any and all question are welcome... So fire away and good luck!
@Cbstine The headbolts have not been done on this car. However when I asked my Mercedes specialist about doing them preventively, I was told that the headbolt "issue" is overexaggerated and not very prevalent in these cars as one would think. If you would like me to reach out to you separately and give you my specialist contact information to speak with him on the matter, I would be more then happy to.
Have the headbolts been done?
