I was able to find the old pics from the lifter and cam inspection when I had the valve covers done. They are uploading now. Also recently serviced the hvac with a fresh cabin air filter and duct cleaning (a known issue on 211s). This car is ready to go.
@KingKittyevery listing gets a troll. I'm proud to have you as mine ❤️
@KingKittyI'm not discounting and I agree it's inexpensive to replace the bolts. Its mentioned multiple times in the post. FCPEURO has the kit for under 400 dollars I believe. I just only see you bidding on sub 10k dollar cars on here so I figured you were being a troll because you can't afford this one. My mistake, thank you for your input.
@KingKittyhave you personally experienced a failure?
Walk-around and Driving videos are uploading. As well as cargo carrier pics.
Great car. Someone is going to get a great value here. Elite level bang for the buck.
Welcome to the auction for this 2008 e63 AMG wagon. I am the current steward of this powerhouse classic having purchased it from a founder of this site 2+ years ago. In my ownership all needed maintenance has been done by a premium independent mercedes shop. Invoices are included in the pictures. Running condition is excellent. Start up is strong and fast with no ticking or other noises. I did have the lifters and cams inspected during the valve cover replacement and they were found to be in proper condition with nearly zero wear. I have not done the headbolt job. I mentioned it to the shop but it was their experienced opinion that it was unnecessary. Brakes are all 50%+ as noted in pics and stop with smooth power, no shimmies. Tires have approx 7k miles. Alignment is up to date. The exterior of this car is excellent. Prior to my ownership this car had a full paint correction and ceramic coating and it shows. No swirl marks at all. A few small chips on the lower front bumper as expected. Otherwise this is 👌. Wheels are the original wheels. They do have some pitting near the center caps. See pics. This is not from any winter driving. They came to me in this condition. Freshly rotated and balanced. The interior is excellent. Leather is supple with only a little wear on the driver's bolster. Suede headliner is as it should be with no loose spots. Sunroof works without any leaks or squeaks. AC is cold. Has heated and cooled seats. 3rd row seating. I recently cracked the handle for the rear seat latch. Ill add a pic of it. The seat still latches and unlatches. This car is in Maine but don't let that stop you from bidding. It's never been in winter weather and it's stored in a heated garage with a cover (included). Also included is the rooftop carrier and whispbar system pictured in the previous listing for this car. I'm willing to work with the buyer and bring this car to southern New England for transport if needed. Please work this out with me ahead of time. Please ask any questions. I am a private buyer/collector. I am here to accurately represent this vehicle. The driving experience is 🎯 but with 4 kids we have moved on to vans and suvs. (My kids have only been in this car once, to attend a wedding). Good luck with the bidding!
@wellsnre: the bugs. I had a recent road trip thru the white mountains of New Hampshire at night and the bugs were thick. My mistake for not cleaning them off. Re: undercarriage. There are a few pics from ground level included in the photo gallery that I think we'll represent the condition. It's California/Arizona car most of its life. It's been in Maine for 2 years and only driven in proper weather. It's stored in a heated garage with a cover on it for the winters.
@Armsdaleyes
46k may seem high but it's well worth it. These are such classic mercedes on all levels, very rare, and in this color it's just perfect. Congrats to the new owner. *if you get what you want you forget what you paid for it

Looks like I'm going to have to list my '08 in Pewter 😳
This is worth whatever it takes
I wish mine was this color 😭
@Stmzillawhen you open your service shop please let us know
There is no other wagon like this one and they'll never make this color again!
@Stmzillaif you can build me one just like this I'll buy it from you for 20k 🙂
@Stmzillahave you recently priced an authentic s211 amg body kit recently? Or a custom exhaust? I appreciate your insight but it sounds more like sour grapes than sage advice. Good luck in your endeavors.
Fresh carpet pics have been submitted. Just waiting on the moderator to post them.
One day left and I've had a lot of similar questions about this wagon. I'll give my history and condition report in this comment in hopes that it helps bidders get an accurate representation of what they are bidding on. I bought this car a year ago from MaxMotive out of the Miami area. Theyre a high end classic car dealer. The cars exterior was built by a tech at a luxury euro shop down there. I can't say enough good things about the exterior of this car... the color, the body kit, the wheels, the tint... its nearly perfect 9.5/10. It's been fully ceramic coated prior to my ownership. As shown in the pics the side mirror gaskets need to be replaced but this is a simple and cheap job. This has to be one of the best looking wagons on earth and if I hadn't bought an e63 amg wagon (thru mbmarket) at the exact same time that I bought this I would likely never sell it. I've driven this one about 4k miles while only driving the e63 amg 400 miles. I've enjoyed the fact that this is a much more usable and reliable and affordable wagon that honestly looks better than the real deal e63. The interior is in good condition. There is some wear in the driver's area and a cracked piece of plastic by the rear passenger door sill (easily replaced from any e500 of the era) A few people asked about the carpets and if they were dirty. I had to agree that they weren't deep cleaned any time recently so I shampooed them last night and they look much much better. Ill post pictures tonight after work. For me personally I like that the interior is standard e class mercedes. It adds to the drivability to not have to fret over the small details like I do in my e63 wagon. The interior is clean with no smells. The dash and radio and doors are all very good with no dry cracks or anything like that. Overall I rate the interior a 7.5 out of 10. Running condition is very good. There are no leaks. The 5.0 v8 is strong and ready and gives that classic Mercedes road feel. Brakes are responsive and smooth with no shaking. The transmission shifts just as it should and can be manually shifted for sportier driving. The airmatic suspension works just as it should and is adjustable. Steering is tight. I don't think it needs anything to be better. It's operating just as designed. The exhaust sounds better than my e63. Whoever built it did a premium job. The tires are arroyo brand because at the time I put them on that was the only brand that had the 2 sizes needed available. I think they're great tires though - quiet, smooth, with good grip and high wear ratings. No complaints. I've had this car serviced by mercedes specialists. The front control arms are big money but they are fresh and should last many many years. Brake and coolant services have been done. Currently the car is in ready condition. This engine and transmission is famous for reliability and it has the Car Wizard's stamp of approval. I'm selling because I can't keep everything and after a year of indecision I have decided to keep the e63 wagon because well, it's an e63 amg and while not as beautiful as this wagon it's an engineering legend. Whoever buys this wagon is getting a true beauty that's ready for cruising and car shows. It turns heads everywhere. I've personally spent 5% of my life staring at it since I got it. The car is in southern Maine. I can store it while shipping is being arranged and I have some shipping connections who use enclosed transport. I would definitely recommend enclosed transport. Please bud with confidence if this is the type of mercedes you a re looking for. There is not another one like it!
@SaabnomoreI just messaged you. I was away for the morning
@thembmarket I tagged you by accident
@DatMan_124indeed! Those lines are perfect
@Spider_Veloceyes I can get those pics. This car has Bluetooth and the receiver is located in the center console underneath the removable cup holders.
***update I mentioned in the walk-around that the brake and cooling systems have the remainder of a 36k mile warranty. This is not correct. Unfortunately the warranty is NOT transferable. I am sorry for the incorrect information. I was under the impression that these warranties would transfer to the new owner. The service record is included in the pictures.
