These factory Mercedes-Benz Evo II wheels all measure 17" x 8.25” and were manufactured by in Italy for use on the W124 chassis. Finished with silver painted faces, this wheel design was offered by Mercedes-Benz on a number of models including the W201 Evo II and W124 500E Limited. This particular set features an offset of +34 and have been refinished in preparation for the sale. Dimensions, offsets, and other manufacturer casting marks are present on each wheel. These Evo II wheels are now offered by the seller in Boca Raton, Florida with OEM center caps installed and worldwide shipping available at the buyer's expense.
The wheels feature a six-spoke star design with silver painted faces. Specifications are stamped on the inside of the wheel. Each wheel measures 17" x 8.25” with an offset of +34 and bolt pattern of 5x112. The seller had each weel professionally refinished in preparation for the sale.
The part number is listed as 124 401 17 02. The single-piece wheels show no scrapes and are reported to be straight and true. Additional markings show Italy as the place of manufacture.

On the W201 for standard body models it is important to use a narrower tire to prevent rubbing. The factory EVO II tire size (245/40/17) is too wide. Using 215/40/17 or 205/40/17 tires are suitable options. Standard body W124s that are not the 500E or E500 would require fender lip rolling & narrower tires. This set pushes the wheels too far outward with the 8.25 width making it a tight squeeze.Hey everyone welcome to this EVO II auction! This is a great set that primarily fits three specific models, as mentioned in the listing. This set is a perfect fit for the W201 190 series, the W124 including the 500E & E500 Limited, and the R129. The good thing about this squared set is that it is compatible with other models. These EVO’s can fit on the W203, W210, W208, & W209. The 8.25 width of the wheels is also noteworthy because it is not seen too often on Mercedes models. I am here to answer any questions!
