This 1957 Mercedes-Benz 190SL has had just two registered owners before being acquired last year by the selling dealer. The second registered owner purchased the car in the 1970s and the car is reported to have been displayed at shows and used on road trips throughout the 80s and 90s before being placed into long-term storage in the late 1990s. It was driven annually until 2010 which coincides with its last Pennsylvania state inspection. Finished in Ivory (620) over Red Leather upholstery, the car features a replacement 1.9-liter inline-four which was installed circa 1974 which is paired to an original 4-speed manual transmission. Recommissioning service has been carried out by the selling dealer since last year and includes upholstery work, fluids flushed, overhauling the brake system, and replacing the tires, ignition points, starter, and battery. This 190SL shows 98k kilometers (~61k miles) and is now offered by the selling dealer with recent records, a black removable hardtop, and a clean Pennsylvania title.
Videos of the car have been provided by the seller below showing a walk around, driving footage, engine idle, and an acceleration video.
