@Stuttgart_Steel I had to replace the ODO gears on my 560 SEC. Good times. I replaced the temp display as well. It took some time, but I finally found one on eBay in Eastern Europe. GLWTA!
Important lesson here. Never, ever, press the odometer reset while the car is in motion. As to the write-up; "inoperational"? I believe the term you are looking for is inoperative. Okay, nit-picking aside, this is a beautiful automobile, with the owner going to great lengths to prepare and present at auction. I absolutely love the color combination. If I were looking for a 124 sedan, this would definitely fill the bill, however, I'm a ragtop guy, so show me a cabriolet in this color, and in this good a shape, and I'm there. I was just looking through the pictures again, and those god-awful biodegradable wiring harness were the worst. It's amazing more of these cars didn't burn to the ground.
Excuse me while I go check how much equity I have in my home.
I don’t believe I have ever seen one of these before. Amazing. Unfortunately for me, it meets the “want,” not “need” category. It probably wouldn’t fit in my garage anyway, even if I did have room. GLWTA
There is nothing I do not live about this car.
@EddieFlyW202 - Maybe it’s a layaway plan.
@ProdigalPetrolHead - A few comments concerning patina: 1. Patina is just another word for neglect. 2. Patina is like pornography - it's difficult to define but you know it when you see it. 3. Patina is God's way of telling you you can't afford it.
