This 1963 Mercedes-Benz 300SE Cabriolet is being offered by the current owner as a running and driving project featuring recent paintwork and a cabin in need of restoration. The Cabrio is finished in metallic silver over blue leather and power is provided by a fuel injected 3.0L M189 inline-six paired with a floor-mounted four-speed manual transmission. The mechanical odometer reads 571 miles but should be regarded as TMU. Features include manual windows, a manual blue soft top, painted hubcaps, a blue tonneau cover, and a Becker head unit. This 300SE Cabriolet is now being offered by the seller with a clean German title in the seller’s name.
The exterior, while originally finished in Tundra Blue Metallic (267), now shows in metallic silver and was repainted under prior ownership with no specific details noted. The car features extended front and rear chrome bumpers and sealed beam stacked headlamps. The seller has provided photos of the body and underside and mentions minor rust in various areas.
Factory 14″ steel wheels wear painted hubcaps and new aged whitewall tires measuring 195/75 at all four corners. The factory tool kit and spare tire are included in the sale.
The cabin is trimmed in blue leather with color-matched door inserts and carpets with original Zebrano veneers are displayed on the dashboard. The veneer shows some age and damage including cracks and peeling. Additionally the cabin shows significant age and wear relative to the overall condition of the car including tears in the seats, frayed edges of carpet and seats, smaller cracks in the dashboard, and discoloration.
Instrumentation includes a 210-km/h speedometer as well as a clock and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 571 miles (TMU).
The 3.0L M189 inline-six is fuel injected and was rated at 185 horsepower when new. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transmission. The seller notes the car to run and drive well. No service records are available. Underside photos are included in the gallery.
This 300SE Cabriolet is now being offered by the seller with a clean German title in the seller’s name.

This auction has been withdrawn due to information recently uncovered that we feel may not be fair to all parties in the sale. In an effort to maintain integrity and the safety of our users, the accounts have been restricted until further notice. Thank you to all who participated. We appreciate your understanding. As we are now entering the final hours of the auction for this beautiful 1963 Mercedes-Benz 300SE Cabriolet, I would like to thank everyone for the interest and the great questions so far. This is a wonderful opportunity to acquire a very special and elegant classic Mercedes. The car is a superb project that already runs and drives, meaning it can be enjoyed on the road and driven any distance while being improved over time, if desired. Opportunities to purchase a 300SE Cabriolet do not come along very often, especially one that can already be driven and appreciated. If you have been watching the auction, now is the moment to place your bid and not miss the chance to own this iconic Mercedes-Benz. Best of luck to all bidders as we approach the end of the auction.$10,500 bid placed by @SEZER

@AugustoSiqueira for me dark greenor blue green is the same thing@AugustoSiqueira The first plate is the Mercedes-Benz body identification plate, which shows the model and the original paint code. The code 112.023 identifies the model (W112 series), and the number 10-00040 relates to the body production number. The paint code shown on the plate is DB 268, which corresponds to the original dark green factory color. The second plate is the official Daimler-Benz manufacturer plate. It displays the chassis number (VIN) 112 023-10-003621, confirms that the car was built by Daimler-Benz AG in Stuttgart, West Germany, and lists the permissible total weight and axle loads (2160 kg total, 1020 kg front axle, 1140 kg rear axle).Hi there, sorry for bothering with so many questions... but I have an additional. On the auction description it is mentioned a VIN # that matches with plate shown on photo 150. However on the following photo (151) it is shown a different VIN on another plate. Furthermore, on this second plate it is mentioned a different color H268 (Blue Green), which also differs from the Tundra Blue Metallic (267). Could you please double check which is the correct one (VIN and color)?@AugustoSiqueira Even if you are located in Brazil, I can help arrange shipping from Germany to the nearest seaport. I work with a large transport company in Europe that handles international vehicle transport and they can also organize the shipment to Brazil. If you win the auction, I can prepare a full shipping quote for you with the total cost.@AugustoSiqueira Some traces of the original dark green color can still be seen in photos #124, #136, #139, and #140.@eurocars I'm in Brasil !@eurocars , no I mean for the green old color@AugustoSiqueira Fot the seats leather? from 83 to 88@AugustoSiqueira This beautiful car is ready to drive and can also be collected in Bavaria, near Nürnberg, Germany. I would be happy to assist with shipping arrangements if required, as well as with all the necessary documentation for export. I hope to win the auction. May I ask where you are located?@eurocars I couldn't realize it. Could please tell the photo numbers?@eurocars Ok, thanks, please just confirm in which city, this is fundamental to add to my costs the road transportation till nearest seaport. Please also confirm if you are able to providel full documentation required to export from Germany.@AugustoSiqueira The color is silver, it was formerly dark green .. can be seen at some photos…@AugustoSiqueira Everything depends on the winning bidder. If he would like a black leather interior, we can complete the car in this color within 2–3 weeks. If the color is not to their liking, the car can be exported with the interior currently shown in the photos (the blue one).My friends from @JobLinkSys are helping me with the interior@AugustoSiqueira We are the garage where the seller has been working on restoring the interior for some time. He asked us to respond on his behalf.@AugustoSiqueira I started some time ago working on the leather for the seats and rear bench to be replaced. The car is sold with absolutely everything shown in the photos, including the leather needed to upholster the front seats, the door panels, and the rear bench. The leather is black. If the winning bidder does not wish to keep this color, there is absolutely no problem; it simply comes as a bonus for anyone who would like a black interior.@AugustoSiqueira No, we are dealer from Germany.Photos 82 to 88, what is that? Is it included on the Auction lot?@eurocars thanks for replying. What about the documentation for exportation, are you ready to provide it? Are you the same Eurocars located in Newark?@AugustoSiqueira The car is located in Germany, never exported.@p2wllc The car runs and drives well and can be driven any distance. Please add photos of the engine bay. In which color is it currently painted, silver metallic or Tundra Blue Metallic (267)?Are you able to provide invoice and required documentation for export from oirigin country? Where is the car located? How well does the car drive? Would it be reliable enough to drive around Germany for a few weeks and then to Latvia?@eurocars I am asking does engine # matche to the data sheet. Is it original to the car ?This is my question.@SEZER The vin is in the description (11202310003621 ), you have all photos you're asking on the add (see last photos)Do you have data sheet? Engine# &VIN# please. Is the engine original to the car? it is better to have data sheet before inspect the car when I am in Germany in next week.I forgot to ask .Can you put the car to lift to show the floor and spare tire section has any rust?can you put the car to lift to show floor and the spare tire section?@eurocars Texas@Karam What is your location? How are you, what do you think shipping and customs will cost$2,000 bid placed by @NEDAMG
