The cabin has been reupholstered in Red Leather across the front and rear seats with newly refinished Macassar Ebony veneer featured across the dashboard, instrument cluster binnacle, center console, and A-pillars. The front seats feature sliding functions and backrest tilting function by complete and polished metal armatures. Matching replacement carpet is featured with red vinyl piping and the rear parcel shelf is retrimmed in Red Leather. The Becker Europa TR is fitted in the dashboard and the seller notes it does not emit sound nor does the VDO clock work. This Euro W111 was not fitted with air conditioning from the factory, but has heat and fresh air controls. The headliner is shown in detail and is in excellent condition without water damage around the sunroof or A-pillars.
The uncracked ivory two-spoke steering wheel features a chrome horn ring and frames gauges that include a 220-kph speedometer, a tachometer, and readouts for coolant temperature and oil pressure as well as a fuel level gauge that per the seller reads lower than actuality even with a new OEM fuel sender unit installed. The horn is noted to not honk, but the seller tested the horns themselves and noted they do operate when power is applied to the units. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows just over 40k kilometers, approximately 300 of which were added under current ownership. The odometer should be regarded as TMU and the ignition requires some key jiggling to get it to turn.
This 1967 250SE Coupe shows 40k kilometers and is now offered out of Marietta, Georgia by the selling party on behalf of the current owner with recent service records and a clean Georgia title.
The seller has included a video combing over the underside, engine bay, exterior/interior walk around, and an over the shoulder driving video:

With two hours left, I'll be on standby for any last minute questions! I cranked the car this morning and checked everything over and she's ready to go. I'm really happy I got to spend time with this car and I actually really liked working on it. The engine is super healthy as is the transmission. The interior work is REALLY well done -- a lot of restored interiors on this era of Mercedes often look ill-fitted since reproduction parts are not perfect. Not this one. Good luck to everyone!$26,000 bid placed by @1234Corvair1

I'm adding the full resolution gallery below for anyone who is interested so you can blow up the pictures and really zoom in: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1DShVpq5IKscVpo53Wm_e4qbNoCZqnK7N?usp=sharing@BD450SL The MB Market added some additional pictures including some more service records and I literally just performed a compression test on the car. The engine is REMARKABLY healthy! Cylinder 1: 123 PSI Cylinder 2: 121 PSI Cylinder 3: 120 PSI Cylinder 4: 114 PSI Cylinder 5: 125 PSI Cylinder 6: 119 PSI A healthy engine should be within a 10% difference between all cylinders. I also added an additional VIN stamp on the front passenger frame rail and I couldn't really read the engine number plaque since it has some damage over the stamps, but added pictures regardless. I'm really happy I did a compression test to confirm what I feel when I lay into the throttle.$10,000 bid placed by @Yonder2

@BD450SL 1: I'll check early next week if the engine matches. 2: I don't see current signs of rust on the car, so I'm doubtful there was much on the car. 3: Not sure on the interior work since I don't have records on it. The car was done up like that when the current owner bought it. 4: No records on the fuel injection pump. That said, I need to get a cold start video. The car takes a bit of cranking to fire but it always starts. 5: I have not run a compression test. That reminds me I should probably buy a compression tester. Let me order one and do a compression test. Good tool I need to have in the toolbox going forward. Is engine numbers matching? Any rust repair performed? Who did the interior + wood? Any fuel injection pump service records? Compression test results?$6,000 bid placed by @BD450SL
@Lolo Without supporting documentation I really don’t know if the mileage is accurate. The car does appear to be low mileage however based on its condition. I can help get the car loaded on a truck and work with you getting anything you need to export the car.Hey, It is a beautyful car. Is the mileage 40k or not really known (5 digits). Are you willing to assist for the shipment to France? Best, Laurent$5,000 bid placed by @Yonder2
Hey everyone! Welcome to the auction is this really pretty W111 Coupe I'm helping sell for a friend and local classic Mercedes-Benz collector here in the Atlanta area. I've spent the past month or so fixing a few things on this one and getting it in a sweet spot where it is a good driver and ready to sell on The MB Market! The copy and the listing are very thorough, so please flip through all the pictures and do watch the video as I go into detail on the car there -- it's long, but if you're a serious bidder I hope you watch it as it provides a lot of useful information only a video can provide. I'm available to show the car in person or bring it to a local shop if you need a PPI done. If you need additional pictures, let me know and I'll upload them in case I missed anything. This is a very complete driver quality car. The engine and transmission are dialed in and the car is a hoot to blast around in. The interior work is rather well done too, so it's a great place to sit. Thanks for looking and I'll be tending to everyone here in the comments and in my private inbox. Thanks for looking!
