This 1986 Mercedes-Benz 190E AMG is reportedly an original AMG build from 1986 with an accompanying service booklet documenting the AMG upfittings at the time. The car was made for the Austrian market where it remained with a collector until it was privately purchased by the seller in 2023 and relocated to Poland. Finished in Arctic White (147) over Blue Velour (972), power is provided by a 2.0-liter inline-four paired with a 4-speed manual transmission driving the rear wheels. Equipment includes a sliding sunroof, cruise control, a power adjustable passenger-side mirror, Euro-spec headlights, an Blaupunkt head unit, an authentic stamped AMG body kit, AMG steering wheel, and AMG Penta wheels. Maintenance performed by the seller over the last year includes a new fuel pump, fuel filter, spark plugs, fuel tank, and an oil service. Now showing only 76k kilometers (~47k miles), this 190E AMG is now offered for sale by the current owner with two keys, the original service book denoting AMG upfittings when new, and a clean Poland registration.
The body is finished in Arctic White (147) and features matching painted trim as part of the AMG treatment. An authentic AMG body kit is fitted and includes an extended front and rear bumper, side skirts, and trunk spoiler, all of which show original AMG stamps. Exterior equipment includes Euro-spec headlights, a sliding sunroof, an automatic antenna, and a power adjustable passenger-side mirror. All glass is original and minor imperfections are pictured in the gallery including a hair line crack on the trunk spoiler.
Fitted to the car are authentic 15" AMG Penta wheels which come wrapped in a set of Uniroyal RainSport 3 tires measuring 205/55 on all four corners which were installed approximately one year ago. Each wheel shows original AMG stamps and come with period correct AMG center caps. A full-size AMG Penta spare is located in the trunk floor.
The cabin is upholstered in Blue Velour (972) with a matching blue dashboard and carpets. Zebrano wood trim surrounds the 4-speed manual gear shift and window switches. Each door is covered with blue vinyl with blue velour inserts. An authentic AMG Atiwe steering wheel is mounted wrapped in blue alcantara leather. Interior features include automatic climate control, cruise control, power windows, a Blaupunkt head unit, and an electrically adjustable passenger side mirror. The seller notes a crack in the plastic trim to the left of the rear window defrost button. The blue velour seats show in nice original condition and the dash is starting to show some cracks. The seller is offering a new blue dash with the car if the buyer chooses to switch it out.
The blue AMG steering wheel frames white-faced analog instrumentation including a 220-kph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, an analog clock and gauges for fuel level, economy, coolant temperature and oil pressure. The six-digit mechanical odometer currently shows 76k kilometers (~47k miles).
This W201 is powered by a M102.961 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine featuring a cast iron block and aluminum heads. The engine is rated at 120 horsepower, which is sent to the rear wheels through a 4-speed manual transmission. Maintenance performed by the seller over the last year includes a new fuel pump, fuel filter, spark plugs, fuel tank, and an oil service. The seller states the car still has AMG suspension with Bilstein shocks.
This 190E AMG has remained in Austria since new until the seller's private acquisition in 2023. Now showing only 76k kilometers (~47k miles), this W201 AMG is now offered for sale with two keys, the original service book denoting AMG upfittings when new, and a clean Poland registration.

@roup1 Of course! The car is fully functional and registered. I’ve personally driven it a few thousand kilometers without any issues.
Any chance that this car could be used around Europe as tourist before shipping it back to the US?

@rattytubes The shipping cost to Los Angeles is similar, around $3,000 to $3,500.
@Merc98 thanks for this info, and yes please I would like more details that you have. I will contact you directly to give you my email.
@rattytubes Thank you for your interest! We can organize the shipping process comprehensively through a company that specializes in containerized car transport from Europe to the USA. The total cost of shipping from my location to a port like New York, including unloading and customs fees, is approximately $3,000 - $3,500. Additionally, there’s an option for the company to deliver the car directly to a specified address in the USA. Let me know if you’d like more details!
Wow! Ok, so is shipping this to the States something even worth considering? Anyone familiar with the process, and how difficult/expensive it might be?
