I believe only 15 of these were offered in the US in this color. Very rare example!
I was able to source a set of new HELLA lenses specific for the E500 with the chrome bezels. I will have them installed prior delivery. Thanks
@Leaping_CatI was not aware of this at all and appreciate you pointing out this information. I originally purchased the car based on the condition it was presented to me in and it certainly could’ve have been previously restored. While the car is in great condition I want to be as transparent about the car as I can and will update if I uncover any other information as I research. I have notified MB Market to update listing as TMU for transparency in either case. MB Market will have the car at Legends tomorrow in Monterey if anyone would like to inspect it in person.
The condition of the car currently is how I received the car upon importation with the exception of the headlights as noted before. Please bid accordingly based on the information presented. The car is 28 years old but does appear to be in remarkable condition. The car will be on display at Legends of the Autobahn tomorrow at Pebble for anyone who would like to inspect the car in person. Thanks
There is a prior listing of a similar car online that states it has this VIN, however, that car is clearly a different vehicle all together. There is no VIN tag in the door on the other car and the seat designs lay differently. Please be advised, this is not that car. I bought this car from a private seller and it was never publicly advertised. Mileage is believed to be fully accurate and detailed photos of the car have been provided to support the condition and underbody photos are now added. I will try to source the correct headlights from the dealer as the ones they supplied are non 500 spec. Please let me know if you have any questions!
@gsxrOne of the lenses had a chip so I ordered new lenses from the dealer which are what’s installed now. I’ve sent underbody photos to MB Market and should be uploaded soon. Thanks
