The exterior of this short-wheelbase flagship sedan is finished in Pearl Gray Metallic (122) with contrasting Chinchilla Metallic Trim (847) lower cladding and a dual-tone pinstripe along each side of the car. Paint blemishes are noted on the hood, roof, and decklid along with rust bubbles under the front turn signals. All exterior features are noted as functional. The original 15” Gullideckel wheels are finished in factory silver paint with no major blemishes shown. New Michelin tires are mounted in factory sizing measuring 205/65 on all four corners and a new full-sized spare is mounted in the trunk along with the OEM tool kit.
The interior is trimmed in Gray Leather (278) and features matching carpets and door panels. Zebrano wood trim accents the center console, dashboard, and doors of the cabin. Amenities include “tempomat” cruise control, electronically adjustable steering column, automatic antenna, and front memory seats for both driver and passenger. The car shows the original Becker Grand Prix head unit. The seller notes the windshield wipers to skip intermittently. and the rear driver side window is inoperable.
The airbag steering wheel frames the factory gauge cluster featuring a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, an analog clock, and gauges for coolant temperature, fuel level, fuel economy, and oil pressure. The six-digit odometer shows approximately 49k miles.
The 3.0-liter M103 inline-six was factory rated at 177 horsepower and 188 lb-ft of torque and sends power to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission. An oil service was performed in preparation for the sale. Various spots of corrosion can be seen on components underneath the 300SE and upon start-up the idle is mentioned to be rough for a few minutes under cold weather conditions. Additionally the air conditioning is noted to have a leak in the system.
The Carfax report lists no accidents or damage and registration in Massachusetts from new through 2019 when the current owner registered in Texas. Linear mileage updates can also be seen from year to year. This 300SE is now offered with factory literature, a tool kit, four keys, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Texas title.

The car drives great on highway. We have taken it out on 250 mile trips back and forth to Oklahoma several times. It just needs a new home and someone that can address the rust issues and keep it on the road. I just don't have the time or space to do that.
