@seller it's more an issue of passing a every two year smog test. Our state has strict laws. There is a Leno Law in process but I do not believe it's been passed yet. GLWTA
@Ntrepid yes the fabric has a rip in it on the driver side B-Pillar. It will be fixed for the sale. There are a few things that will be fixed for the sale. Small things like this, don’t worry! I will work with the buyer and all will be answered.
Does the driver side B-pillar have an issue? Where the pictures done while it was being refinished?
Who wants a 4K video of this beauty! Stay tuned. By the weekend it should be uploaded. Exterior shots, interior shots, interior driving, exterior driving, etc..
@ArmyGuy63 thank you! Of course! I’d love for this car to drive out of my driveway one last time instead of a trailer taking it! I’d want to do the same if I were buying it. Yes, I will help you in every way possible.
@Virafp thank you! If the challenge you are referring to is importing…it’s not a challenge at all! Very straight forward, and very cheap. I would be more than happy to help with the process. Is the challenge importing? Remember there is only a 2.5% duty/fee. Nothing else.
**NO 25% TARIFFS** Welcome to my auction of this spectacularly 560SEL. I am proud to be handling the sale on MBMarket. Extensive amount of work, time and money has gone into this vehicle for it to be where it is, the attention to detail is truly tremendous. I wanted to address a few things. - It's a Canadian specification car. Canadian buyers will pay 5% GST + provincial sales tax if applicable - For American buyers, importing into the US is straightforward and no taxes or fees are levied on the Canadian side. The car does not need any modification to meet USA standards. - Current import costs are: **NO 25% TARIFFS** a 2.5% duty and a few hundred dollars in broker fees. TX International will ship it to you, and their in-house broker will handle all the paperwork. You can request a quote from them here https:// www.tfxinternational.com/ It can take them a couple of days for them to respond so it's best to get in touch with them early. Vehicle: I bought this 560SEL with 177,xxx KMS in 2022. It was no where near the condition it is in now. Engine, transmission, exterior, interior, anything and everything you can think of is different. I put in tremendous amount of time and effort to get it my TRUE daily driver. Yes I’ve been daily driving this vehicle for 1.5 years, I’ve put on almost 35,xxx KMS. You can see what’s been done to it through the description so I won’t waste time writing that here. This is one of those cars you will think about later and say “I should have just bid on it”, why? Because it won’t go for six figures like the REAL AMG cars, and I know that, I understand that. But this is as close to you’ll get without paying the price. And yes, it has some imperfections, but a true car enthusiast knows..the car can never be perfect, unless….it sits in the garage. As mentioned, every 5-6k km I did oil changes with only 5W-40 full synthetic oil (fall/winter) and 15W-40 for the spring/summer. Once again thank you everyone for joining in, I'm excited to see what we can do with this auction, someone will be taking this classic home and I hope they can enjoy it at least half as much as I did. Zero complaints from the car, all in one. As always, I'll be monitoring the auction closely, and feel free to use the Contact Seller button as well. Good luck, everyone!
This is really a beautiful looking car!! @Seller IF I was to bid and win this, would you be able to get me the Canadian paperwork sent to me here in AZ so I could Title it, Register it as a classic and come up there to drive it home? I’d love to make a road trip out of it’s arrival to my home as opposed to shipping it.
@Virafp IF I were still in CA and wanted it, I’d just do it and register it in Montana.
What a beautiful stance....unfortunately I live in California and this is the challenge, or I would be a bidder!
