What would the shipping cost be to the United States,, Phoenix AZ, ZIP Code 85018? The shipping calculator is not working.
Pretty sweet old gal you have there! I love the W126 chassis more than most have owned 11 Gen-1 & Gen-2 cars over the years! This one shows very well. If only I were closer to do my own PPI!
Any idea the cost to ship to the USA? Zip code 85018?
Congrats to the new owner! I’m soooooo bummed I missed out on this! I had to step away for work.
Shipping costs to Zip Code 85016 in the United States??
What timing! I just bought a Black on Black W124 and its being shipped to me as I type this! WhooHoo!
I guess the market is not as hot as it was a few months ago.
RNM, too bad. I wonder how close it came to getting sold?
RNM….bummer
@Fidi_MB BANG!!!
@NYCdriver, you’re up….
I wonder how far off we were.
Wow, out of no where! 👍
I recently sold my 2007 CLS and have regretted it ever since but finding one as nice as mine to replace it has been a challenge. This one is certainly close!
Congrats @Greig1756
Congrats @amgpuma
Definitely the deal of the day!!
If the price stays here, it's a good deal. Anything higher is unfortunate for the potential buyer who might want to repair and upgrade this old gal. If you just want to drive a W140, great but many of us (specifically me) want a sorted car. Paint & Bodywork alone will run well in excess of $7K. Accumulator R&R isn't cheap, nor are a replacement set of wheels & tires. Before you know it, you're into her for $15K or more. GLWTA and to the new owner. What a great thing if the new owner does in fact freshen her up, then shares what has been done and what was spent to get back to her original glory!
RNM….bummer.
It's got the dash ducts; I wonder what the cost would be to add A/C? In AZ, this is a must-have. The only thing I don't have A/C on is my Corvair which is only driven in the winter months.
@admin are the MBMarket fees still the same for these as it is for cars?
@2nd_Chance_SteelBelieve it or not, Greyhound will ship them across country pretty inexpensively! Have them wrapped on plastic wrap and labeled. They'll be delivered to the station nearest you. I did it with wheels and tires from Colorado to AZ and it was cheap
How far off did it get from the reserve?
Why do all the cars I want come available 3000 miles away and as I am about to leave on Summer vacation!
In addition to the rust repair picture (before and after) will you offer closer photographs of all of the body dents as there seem to be many on the drivers side for sure.
Well this accelerated quickly!!
I just sold my 1991 W126 on another site but this one makes me think of adding yet another to my vast collection!
Nice W220! If only it was Black inside as well! Great car! GLWTA!
I know for a fact, I’ll be kicking myself for not putting a bid in on this killer ride!
Interesting car for sure. 149K on the clock so she’s been used, as she should have been!
Congratulations @Prezes84!
Beautiful car, higher mileage or not, it's a timeless classic. I wish I had some extra cash on hand to make this happen. GLWTA!
Great looking W116.....rare to ever see anything other than a 450SEL here in the US. I love the 6 cyl M110 was reliable and satisfactory in power to get this big body gal around.
Not a single bidder who’s bid more than once. Come on people! Duke it out for this awesome and iconic machine!
@avemariaI believe the only available automatic trans was the 722.315 4-Speed Automatic.
I wonder how high the reserve was....
Congratulations @GreenbrierCC!
@TheDanManThanks...I have a small fleet of MB's and love the older ones the best. Not being there to see it first hand, I just wanted the owner opinion of the car but respect yours as well! My collection is a split of MB's & Cadillac's in what I call a "Unicorn" collection, having a bunch of cars not always kept.
IF I bid and win this lovely lady, I would fly out there and drive it back to AZ as opposed to shipping it. What are your thoughts on a road trip of 2200 miles?
