The R107 is an icon of the 80’s and one of the most recognizable classic cars from Mercedes-Benz. Being produced for 17 years, the V8 version of the R107 in the US started out with a 4.5-liter V8 and eventually graduated to the larger 5.5-liter version starting in 1986. While the R107 continues to solidify its legendary status among a lineage of SL's, R107's in above average mechanical condition are becoming tougher to find than ever. The M117-powered 560SL's are leading the way from a collectibility and value standpoint. With 119k miles and a clean history, this 1988 560SL presents really well sporting a rare Blue-Black Metallic paint and is sure to provide many more years of motoring excellence to its lucky new owner.
