The exterior is finished in Impala Brown Metallic (441) and features a matching removable hardtop, an electric-folding dark brown convertible soft top, headlight wipers, fog lights, fender vents, and a power antenna. The seller reports the body and chassis are rust free with the most notable blemishes including a front bumper showing several cracks, a chip in the paint and dent right of the grille, along with general fading in the paint.
Factory 16″ alloy wheels wear a silver finish and are mounted with new 225/55 Kuhmo tires. The car is equipped with an anti-lock braking system (ABS), automatic slip control (ASR), and a leather-wrapped roll bar designed to automatically deploy in the event of a rollover.
The cabin features power-adjustable seats with memory upholstered in Beige leather (275) along with matching carpets and door panels. The upper dash is finished in contrasting black along with a black leather steering wheel. The center console and door cards are accented with burl wood trim. Equipment includes power windows, automatic climate control, cruise control, and an aftermarket head unit. The air conditioning has been converted to R134 and operates as designed but could use a recharge according to the seller. Additionally the windows reportedly rise slowly and the SRS light is illuminated.
The leather wrapped steering wheel frames instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, an analog clock, and a digital thermometer along with auxiliary gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, instant economy, and coolant temperature. The six-digit odometer shows only 38k miles.
The 5.0-liter M119 V8 was factory rated at 322 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission. Recent service includes a complete fuel service (lines, tank, pumps all cleaned), a new fuel filter, new fuel level sender, new vacuum hoses, an oil service, and a new battery.
The Carfax report indicates no accidents or other damage and is offered by the seller in New Jersey with two key fobs, manufacturer’s literature, partial service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean New Jersey title.

@Slammer thank you, I love this color as well!
@Pdupont I just got back from TN for training. Unfortunately i didn’t have anyone to film a video and the weather in NJ right now is not the best at the moment. I do have the car covered so it doesn’t get wet. I did use the soft top once or twice to bring it down. Only issue I had were the windows where when the soft top is going down the windows would slowly go down. Not sure if that messes up the process of bringing the soft top down. So i didn’t want to mess with that at this very moment, especially with the weather currently. Just want to be honest and upfront about that. Sorry about the delayed response. Good luck on bidding!
Such a good color!

@Kambo I’ll do my best to answer your questions. The background/history of this car was previously owned by a old man in his late 70s. He lost his wife recently due to health issues and said he didn’t need this car anymore as this was his weekend car for him and his wife. He’s owned this car since 2010 from a dealership. He was the second owner. He’s had it sitting in the garage for a 2-3 years after his wife passed. I bought it from him knowing it’s a great car, had maintenance done to it. Drove it for a few months. This car drives smoother than my W220 S500. I’ve had that for years. I want to keep this car so I could ride it with my future wife, but unfortunately with the crazy house market in NJ, I have to let her go. To answer your question long term wise, this car mechanically will last for eternity. Obviously depending on how much you drive it or how long it sits, maintenance is key.
@Johger45 I’ll do my best to see if I can get someone within my family to open and close the roof in a video. I do apologize as I am currently away due to training for a new job.
Can you share the background of this car? What is it in long term storage?
Please provide a video of the top opening and closing. Also photos of the under side of the vehicle. Thank you.
