This 1991 Mercedes-Benz 300CE was sold new in New Jersey with subsequent registrations noted in Florida and North Carolina. Finished in Smoke Silver Metallic (702) over Beige Leather (265), power is provided by a 3.0-liter 24v M104 inline-six paired to a four-speed automatic transmission. The original window sticker is included in the sale and shows a $58,330 MSRP when new. The only option shown on the build was the optional passenger airbag. Standard features include power windows, a power sunroof, automatic seatbelt extending arms, an original Becker head unit, and automatic climate control. The seller reports recent services to include a new head gasket, new engine and transmission mounts, new suspension bushings, a brake service, a transmission service, and an ignition service. 24 service records are noted on the included Carfax report. This C124 currently shows 125k miles on the odometer and is offered by the selling dealer with manufacturer's literature, spare corner lights, a set of original 8-hole wheels, three original keys, the factory tool kit, and a clean Florida title.
Finished in Smoke Silver Metallic (702) with contrasting lower body cladding, this coupe features a power sliding sunroof with tilt function, headlight washers with automatic wipers, fog lights, and a pillarless window design. The included Carfax report shows an accident reported in 2007 with damage to the left side of the car noted. No detail is given beyond saying the car was drivable post-accident. Aftermarket tail lamps are installed and aftermarket clear corner markers are included in the sale.
While the original 8-hole wheels are included in the sale, this example wears staggered 17” AMG wheels typically seen on CLK430 Sport models. The wheels show some curb marks and wear. Mounted on the wheels are Falken tires up front and Hankook tires in the rear. Respective sizes are 225/45 and 245/40.
The cabin is trimmed in Beige Leather (265) across the seats, door cards, armrest, and dashboard. Additional leather-trimmed features include the steering wheel and shift knob. All leather surfaces are reported to be original and nicely kept. The Black dashboard is free from cracks along with the door cards and rear headrests. The center console, dash, and doors are trimmed in original Burl Walnut wood and shows some light cracking under the shifter surround.
The analog odometer shows just under 125k original miles. Instrumentation includes a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer with a 6,400-rpm redline, and an analog odometer with trip function. Additional gauges include fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure along with an analog clock and digital external temperature gauge.
The 3.0-liter 24v M104 inline-six was rated for 177 horsepower and 188 lb-ft of torque when new. The seller reports recent services to include a new head gasket, new engine and transmission mounts, new suspension bushings, a brake service, a transmission service, and an ignition service. 24 service records are noted on the included Carfax report. Elegant, spacious, refined, and surprisingly entertaining to drive, it’s still regarded as one of the finest four-seater coupes to come out of Mercedes-Benz, and remains hugely sought after. A lot of research and development went into the coupe on the heels of the 123 chassis cars and it definitely shows when you get behind the wheel. It was extremely refined too with that rock-solid feel we know to expect from a 124. This example shows a handsome color combination and good recent servicing that should set up the buyer with a reliable daily driver and Sunday toy perfect for cruises.

@Why_Not thank you very much for your interest and comments. Headliner is in excellent conditions and completely attached in all corners. Garage kept for a very long time ;)
Hi guys, I think you have the specs for the M103 listed for this car. It looks to be a very nice car. Minor question : Is the headliner all completely attached above the rear window ? I ask only because my 124.034's headliner was beginning to come adrift above the rear window when I bought it out of Phoenix some 14 years ago. The sun cooked the glue so it needed replacement.
