This 1996 Mercedes-Benz G36 AMG was modified by AMG Japan when new and was imported to the US by the selling dealer in 2023. The truck is powered by an AMG-tuned 3.6-liter inline-six mated to a four-speed automatic transmission. Finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic (744) over black leather upholstery, equipment includes 16″ alloy wheels, three locking differentials, AMG side graphics, inward-facing folding jump seats, heated and power-adjustable front seats, cruise control, automatic climate control, and a Kenwood stereo. Now showing 68k kilometers (~42k miles), this W463 is offered by the selling dealer with manufacturer’s literature, partial service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Oregon title.

This G wagen is finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic (744) with gray AMG side graphics. The front end features a brush guard and dual squared side-exit AMG exhausts tips can be seen on the driverside. Additional features include a halogen headlights, foglights, heated side mirrors, window visors, rear mud flaps, and tinted windows. The amber turn signal lamps were replaced in Japan in 2021 and an original AMG HWA sticker is located in on the driverside rear glass.

Burl walnut trim accents the dashboard and center console with an AMG signature visible between the rear window switches. The M104 inline-six was modified by AMG Japan with a stroker crankshaft increasing the displacement to 3.6-liters. Power was rated at 276 horsepower and 284 lb-ft of torque when new. The air filter has reportedly been replaced and a full fluid service was performed in 2023. Power is sent to all four wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and locking front, rear, and center differentials that can be engaged via dashboard-mounted switches. A video below shows both high and low being engaged along with all three differentials.
