This 1999 Mercedes-Benz SL500 was sold new in Colorado with subsequent registrations noted in Utah, Wisconsin, and Massachusetts. It was acquired by the current owner in 2024 who has added approximately 1000 miles. It was delivered new at the factory under the European Delivery Program and, as indicated on the original window sticker, spent 15 days on the Black Forest/Alps drive following delivery. Finished in Dark Turquoise (297) over Java Nappa Leather (234), power is provided by a 5.0-liter V8 mated to a five-speed automatic transmission driving the rear wheels. The car features the desirable SL2 package which includes xenon headlights, heated front seats, and an integrated trunk-mounted BOSE 6-disc CD changer. This R129 is powered by a 5.0-liter M113 V8 which is rated for 302 horsepower and 339 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed 722.6 automatic transmission.
