Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission. Underbody photos provided by the seller are clean with few signs of corrosion.
The Carfax report shows four owners from new with linear mileage reports and no accidents or damage reports are shown. This 2001 CL600 is now offered in St. Louis, Missouri with the original manufacturer’s literature, two remote keys, a clean Carfax report and a clean Arizona title.
A cold start, walk-around and driving video has been provided by the seller below.
The early 2000s was a time defined by flashy, customized cars, exemplified in popular media through movies like The Fast and the Furious and TV shows like Pimp My Ride. For athletes and movie stars alike, the preferred brand was often Mercedes-Benz, and for NBA All-Star Tracy “TMac” McGrady, that choice was the CL600, a V12-powered pillarless coupe. Brought to one of the best-known names in the modified car industry, West Coast Customs, this C215 received extensive modifications ranging from a Lorinser body kit and color change, to a fully custom interior and aftermarket audio system. More than two decades on, car enthusiasts have begun to appreciate this time of bright colors and big wheels and this CL600 is a perfect representation of the era. With an NBA All-Star owner and modifications from one of the biggest names in the business, this CL600 is sure to attract attention from car enthusiasts and sports fans alike for many years to come.

Listen guys, Negative comments from people that are not even bidding is stupid. “I dont like your wife either”! It is all about personal views and interest. If you dont like the car then save your comments. If you have specific info of interest to share, come on,,,,, This car is unique, and that is why I an interested. As a car collector I choose not to buy mainstream cars, if possible. The undercarriage shows the car has been in the East and has a lot of surface rust. This car is by no means a show condition vehicle. Take off the “lipstick” and you have a basic 2001 600cl. Nothing had been done to engine, brakes suspension or exhaust. The suspension is hydraulic and cost about 1Grand ea corner, plus the pump and all labor. I have replaced these on several cars from the same era (Mercedes SL’s as well as Jaguars). As selective as I am I am aware of the cost of ownership of something like this. If you are not, dont bid. I actually dislike the color and would prefer a paint job. But the Lorinzer body kit and the sound system is awesome. So I will see you guys down the road. The car does have potential, such as bi-turbo upgrade with cold air intake and new ceramic headers and exhaust.

While I would think twice about driving around with those wheels, I appreciate this as it represents car culture from a different era. Thinking of the crazy Koenig Specials from the 1980's. Mercedes, Porsche, Ferrari .... there was something for everyone. Even AMG offered cosmetic 80's mods that raised eyebrows at some point. If cared for, this low-mile CL600 could be very valuable one day.

I wonder what WCC charged for those modifications back in the day, having that receipt would have been epic. Unfortunately, in my humble opinion, I don't think they are going to add any value to this CL600. However, I do think there is some value to the fact that it was owned by an NBA All-Star. Hope you find the right buyer on here... GLWA!
@ProdigalPetrolHead Thank you for your bid and interest. It is certainly a one of a kind car fit for a hall of famer!
@Eagle11 Thank you for asking. The gaps and fitment on the car are very good. I think what you may be seeing is the low sunlight angle casting shadows into the gaps? Very nice low mileage car. Please let us know if you have any additional questions? Regards, Team MotoeXotica
MORE than happy to get this one kicked off. Actually remember seeing this as a kid with no car, no license, and no money thinking it was the coolest. WCC was massively influential in the early 2000's along with DUB magazine and this screams that era. Will proudly cruise this around Atlanta if I win.

Those wheels. Oy.
Why would you do this to tje beautiful car i belive it was before all these BS work on it? Damn
I'm sorry for this comment. This is one ugly car.
Pimp my Benz.
IS it me or are there body panel fitment issues?
