Hello @MBFahrer, I don’t recall seeing any fading on the grille, nor can I locate it in any of the photos in the gallery. Since all photos are numbered, please let me know which specific picture you’re referring to. Regarding storage — when I purchased the car, it was kept under a car cover (included with the sale) in the seller’s garage. Since then, it has always been stored in my personal garage and has never spent a night outside. I’ll record a full walkaround video on Monday when I return to Miami to show the condition of the paint and grille in detail. Thank you!
Good auction. Thank you everyone for your bids.
Good afternoon MB Market Community, Thank you for all your bids so far. This Brabus ML 5.8 has been part of my personal collection for the past six years and remains one of the most unique SUVs of its time. It needs absolutely nothing — everything functions as it should, and mechanically it’s perfect. I’ve invested over $10,000 in maintenance during my ownership (receipts are shown in the gallery). A rare, fully sorted example that will not disappoint.
@Jay_Gibbs, you are absolutely correct it's a 4 spd AT not a 5 spd. Thank you
@95Cab, thank you for your questions. This 190E 2.3-16V has been part of a large Mercedes-Benz collection since 2018. I’ve added only about 650 miles during my ownership. The car was serviced in 2018 ($4,953.66), again in 2019 ($1,533.58), in 2022 ($190), and most recently in 2025 ($1,252). It was never exposed to snow while in Minneapolis for a few months before permanently moving to Miami in 2019. I’ll post a driving video and detailed suspension photos once I return to Miami on Monday, 10/27. Here’s a short list of minor items needed to make the car perfect: * The plastic trim on the left side of the instrument panel has a crack. * The A/C is somewhat weak. It was recharged two weeks ago; I’ll check again when I’m back. If it’s not holding a charge, the next owner may want to locate and fix the leak. Otherwise, this is an excellent, low-mile example of a well-cared-for 190E featuring the legendary Cosworth powerplant. As for why I’m selling — I’ve reached a point where managing 100 cars has become too much, so I’m downsizing to around 75 to keep things more manageable. Thank you for your interest, and happy bidding!
Great auction. Thank you to all the bidders. We are not quite there with the final bid. The car will have to stay in Florida for now!
@HumbleFarmer, I'm glad you asked. The exhaust note is excellent. Please watch the driving video to hear the exhaust during acceleration. You could hear the sound even with the windows closed.
It's worth mentioning that the truck has been serviced and doesn't need anything at the moment. All Power Options work as they should, AC blows cold. Please watch the Walk around video. Bid with confidence!
The paint meter readings have been submitted to MB Market and will be posted shortly. According to the readings thos Brabus has never had any paint work done and wears it's original paint!
Hello MB Market Community and welcome to my listing for the **2001 Mercedes-Benz ML58 BRABUS** — a rare and powerful piece of early-2000s tuning history. This ML was built by **BRABUS** when they were at the height of their craft, transforming the W163 into something far beyond a regular SUV. The 5.8-liter BRABUS engine delivers the kind of torque and character you’d expect from Brabus. Make sure to watch a driving video to fully understand it https://youtu.be/KVDob3gzmKo?si=rEe7RO17usC0JiRU The truck has been well cared for, presents beautifully, and drives exactly as a proper BRABUS should — strong, tight, and special in every way. Here is the walk around video https://youtu.be/ljJBPrzjij8?si=9p0X3HT1vLXekdZQ Cold Start Video https://youtube.com/shorts/dgicIHfjoWU?si=VccMuMHgHZSy0Nhl If you have any questions, feel free to ask them here. I’ll be happy to provide details, photos, or driving impressions. Happy bidding!
@Jrad1600, 1000 miles is a lot of miles to put on a car when the car is part of a large car collection. I'm really surprised I put that many miles. Wow!

@Youngclassicamg, I was able to take the actual photograph of the engine number and sent it to MB Market Team to add to the listing. The number on the engine block matches the paperwork I have for the E34 AMG. Thank you for helping me to locate it. I cheated though, Bernard from @patinacollective sent me a detailed video on how to look for it😀
@Abby87426, I sent in pictures of multiple pages of service records from Japan that came with the car in the AMG folder (pictures of the folder attached separately). I hope that helps. Thank you
@Youngclassicamg, I sent a picture of the document from Japan that looks like a data card. It shows the engine number 104980 12 011023 you were asking about.
@Saildoc, I sent in correct pictures of the paint measurements. All panels measure 9 - 11 mm Also, per your request, I took close up pictures of the pillars by the windshield. There is zero paint bubbling or any other inconsistencies. MB Market will upload new pictures tomorrow
@Saildoc, I was not paying attention to gauge measurements you are referring to. I will retake them today when I'm with the car. I have to verify it. Most likely it's a mistake. Thank you
@Abby87426, I didn't write the description for the listing. We photographed every brochure and manual that came with the car. I will visit the car tomorrow in the effort to read the serial number off the engine block and check for the AMG service manual for you. Thank you
@Youngclassicamg, so do I need to have a Inspection Telescopic Mirror to see it?
@Saildoc, looks like the roof measured at 3.34 all other panels, hood, trunk, doors and fenders came back at about 9.5 I checked with the importer that I purchased the car from, he confirmed that the car was repainted in Japan by the previous owner. 1. Japan’s climate and environment High humidity, acid rain, and UV exposure (especially in coastal cities like Yokohama or Osaka) cause clear coat failure, fading, and oxidation even on garaged cars. Japanese roads are often near the ocean, so salt air accelerates paint deterioration. Owners often repainted to restore appearance, not due to damage. 2. Cultural emphasis on aesthetics and “like-new” condition In Japan, there’s a strong cultural value on clean, flawless presentation — dents, chips, and fading are seen as signs of neglect. Owners (and dealers) routinely resprayed panels or entire cars to make them appear “fresh,” even when mechanically untouched. 3. Factory paint quality of the era Even premium European brands in the 1980s–1990s didn’t use modern clear-coat UV protection. After 30+ years in Japan’s climate, original finishes aged poorly unless meticulously cared for. In short: Most Japanese-market classics were repainted not because of accidents, but because of Japan’s humidity, resale culture, and high cosmetic standards.
@Saildoc, the original paint color is Pine Green Metallic (254U) Here is the link to the information on a Data Card: https://www.lastvin.com/vin/az1nGEyxX1gdxv67
@Olyfour, I don't believe so but I'm not a 100% sure. Thank you
@youngclassicamg, no problem. Please let me know where it is so I can take a picture of it. Thank you

Hello MB Market community, Welcome to my MB Market auction of this rare AMG E34 (W124) This car has never been repainted under my ownership, and there are no signs of any prior accidents. It’s fully serviced, with no warning lights on the dash — all power options function properly. The only non-operative item is the radio, while the A/C blows cold. The suspension feels exceptionally tight, and the car drives noticeably better than a stock W124. I own nearly every version of the W124 chassis except for the 7.3 Brabus, so I speak from experience — this E34 truly embodies what pre-merger AMG stood for in the 1980s: precision, balance, and performance ahead of its time. The car needs nothing at the moment other than a working radio and can easily be enjoyed as a daily driver. Happy bidding! Greg @Garage90x
The E500board police is here 😀😀. Good catch @gsxr. I will take care of it this week! Thank you

Hello @brevomarketing, to my knoweldge both the engine and transmission are original to the car.
Hello MB Market community. Welcome to my first MB Market auction! Up for bidding is my 1961 Mercedes-Benz 190SL finished in the striking red over black color combination. I’ve owned this car for a little over four years, during which it has been maintained under an open checkbook policy. Over $50,000 in service receipts accompany the car, reflecting the level of care it has received. The 190SL needs absolutely nothing at this point—ready to be enjoyed as a daily driver or added to any collection as a standout piece. Please bid with confidence.
@Tino, thank you for your reply. I would still like to hear from @Herr_Flick what senior AMG tech said about AMG not wanting to install V8 engines into A124 chassis. Your reference to Sultan Of Brunei collection is not very accurate as those cars are never driven.
@Herr_Flick, can you share why MB never built A124 with M119? Thank you
Shipping, customs, insurance bond, port unloading fees will run about 5k to bring this car from Europe
@trilldizzle, Victor, thank you for letting me have it, I appreciate that alot. I tried to buy this piece a while back but they sold it to someone else before I got to it. And now this....
Hi Victor
@Bibliophile26, Unfortunately, nothing local. I use one restoration shop overseas
@Bibliophile26, unfortunately, it's not an estimate, I live it daily😁. The keyword: reputable shop. @Bibliophile26, you have a special car here. Good luck with the sale!
This a collector grade car that needs restoration. If you do the work in the US at a reputable shop, to match original quality, will take at least 50k or more. This is a 100-125k example, in today's market, once brought to its original glory.
@importedbenz, did this car go through federalization process to become eligible for importation to the US since it's a Japanese market car? Do you have paperwork as to what was done and cost associated with that? Thank you
@AMGHammer, I just sent Blakley a message requesting your contact information. Thank you
@AMGHammer, the "contact seller" button disappears once bidding ends. Standard operating procedure with online auctions.
@sm921 @YuraCoupe, @AMGHammer, it will be interesting to see how the owners of the platform handle this issue. I'm sure they will make it right for the seller and all bidders that couldn't continue with the auction. This sale was highly publicized. The main question was the value of the "Hammer" in today's world. The question remains unanswered due to the server issues.
@mbmarket, please check your server and make this right. I was unavailable to continue placing bids after it reached 535K, I tried to log back in and was unable to get access to your website altogether. So did other people that were following this auction
