The four-spoke wood and leather wrapped steering wheel sits in front of a chrome-ringed white gauge cluster displaying a 160-mph speedometer, 7k-rpm tachometer, and additional readouts for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer reads just under 90k original miles. A digital clock and outside temperature gauge are also present.
The 3.2-liter M112 V6 powerplant is rated at 215-hp and 229 lb-ft of torque from the factory. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission. The R170 is an underloved model, but this one has the looks and the drivetrain to make it both interesting and I’m guessing rare. If I was looking for one of these, I can’t imagine a better example.

After watching the driving video, I noticed that the tach was climbing but the speedometer was steady around 40 mph. Does the clutch slip or is it slipping when you give it gas in gear and pedal all the way out? Thanks
How much trunk space is there with the top down?
I have it's exact smaller brother in an SLK230. Black leather and the 6 speed manual. In my garage, but gets driven enough to keep the battery up. I'm keeping it for now as it's fun to drive and plenty quick. It has 23 less HP than the V6.
