Look carefully and you will see the plastic retainers that you can push up from bottom towards the roof direction and the cushion should pop up and out. So here we have a very rare E55 AMG. 2002 Designo. It is full loaded from what I see,parktronic,heated/cooled vented ortho seats, navigation. Having pointed out the good now the bad, mileage is low but looks like this car needs a lot of attention to get it like new. These cars were bulletproof and I think very under appreciated that is why they were not looked after as a more exotic brand would be. So if this car was perfect with under 30k I could see $50-$60K, maybe even more but then it depends how bad the buyer wants it. The rubber moldings between the front fender and rocker panel have deteriorated and are gone but I just replaced them on my 2001 E55 Amg for $126 dollars from the dealership. I was surprised they were even able to order them but were available from MB USA. My E55 is not a "Designo" but has all the other options including an upgraded "Tele-Aide" working with lifetime subscription. I'm @20K miles on mine, still smells new. Headliner starting to come down on mine too. All in all great cars but this one needs a lot of TLC. BTW I did happen to find a COMPLETE Designo "Mocca" interior including steering wheel and door cards. GLWA$5,210 bid placed by @MBTech96

I didn’t want to rain on your listing but it does look a bit rough from some angles. still, with the recent maintenance and nice interior it’ll make a good driver for someone. Or was the car maybe wet sanded & polished? Looks to be clear coat or polish residue everywhere. In pic 74 are those tape lines on the fender? Can you speak on the quality of the paint job?@MBTech96 hi, yes the rear lines are crusty, I have driven it from the NE to Texas like this, I do have both lines, might replace them during the duration of the auction. Will post pictures here.@Seller, has anyone checked the integrity of the brake lines? Pic #156 shows a pretty severely rusted line going to the R/R caliper hose. This is very pretty E55 btw, love the colors. Kind of a shame its so crusty underneath but that's just how it is in the NE.
