This 2016 Mercedes-Benz E63 S AMG 4Matic was sold new in Southern California where it remains registered and offered for sale by the selling broker on behalf of the second owner. Finished in Designo Mystic Brown Metallic (052) over a Designo Brown leather (X06) cabin, power comes from a 5.5-liter M157 AMG Bi-turbo V8 and sends power to all four wheels through a seven-speed automatic transmission. Features include a glass sliding sunroof, multi-contour heated and ventilated front seats, an electric rear roller blind, LED headlamps with adaptive high beam assist, and aftermarket additions including lowering links, intakes, and a Benzworks tune. This E63 currently shows 55k miles on the odometer and is offered with manufacturer's literature, two original keys, maintenance records, an included clean Carfax report, and a clean California title.
The car is finished in Designo Mystic Brown Metallic (052) and features AMG-specific ground effects including bumpers, side skirts, trunk lip spoiler, an AMG front grille, and AMG exhaust. Additional exterior features include LED headlamps, a carbon fiber front splitter, a blacked-out grille, and red-accent badging. The windows have been tinted with high-performance ceramic tint under current ownership.
This E63 S shows original 19” AMG wheels finished in satin black paint with matching center caps. Acceiera tires are mounted measuring 255/35 up front and 285/30 in the rear. AMG brakes tucked behind the wheels are finished in red from the factory with black script. Lowering links have been installed in the front and rear.
The cabin is trimmed in Designo Brown leather (X06) leather across the seats, door cards, and head rests with black nappa leather accenting the shift knob and dashboard. The steering wheel is trimmed in Nappa Leather and Alcantara while the dashboard and door trim is finished with optional Burl wood veneer from the factory. Features include heated and ventilated dynamic front seats, a convenience box in the trunk, COMAND infotainment with navigation, Keyless-Go, and the Parking Assist Package with a surround-view camera system. Aftermarket shift paddle extensions have been added.
The flat-bottomed leather AMG steering wheel fronts a 200-mph speedometer with a centered digital display and an 8k-rpm tachometer, along with fuel-level and coolant temperature gauges. The digital display also shows outside temperature, trip functions, and infotainment data. The digital odometer shows 55k miles.
Power comes from a bi-turbo 5.5-liter AMG-tuned M157 V8 factory rated at 577 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque in the S-model variant. Power is sent to all four wheels via a 722.9 seven-speed AMG Speedshift transmission and 4MATIC all-wheel drive. A Benzworks tune has been added for a power upgrade and a red carbon fiber engine cover for aesthetics.
The included Carfax report shows a clean history since new and linear mileage updates. This E63 is now offered with manufacturer's literature, two original keys, maintenance records, an included clean Carfax report, and a clean California title.
The E-Class has always been a staple for car enthusiasts from all walks. From the early AMG Hammers to the 500E and the later E55 AMG’s, it seems there’s always room in the stable for a practical rocket ship with four doors and a big V8. By 2015, AMG had been milking power out of turbochargers for several years but the addition of all wheel drive was a game changer in the daily driven department. The E63 AMG S was now capable of a sub 4-second 0-60 time and boasted the best high speed stability yet with only a third of the power being sent to the front wheels. The rest of the near 600 horses were sent to the rear, which means in true AMG form, this sedan will still get sideways at the flick of the wheel. This example specifically catches our attention for the Designo colors and uniqueness in build.
